A ton of kids are fans asking on the facebook page if they are old enough to go. WOW. I suppose they have no problem with kids playing their games, they just wish they could sell them a 150 dollar ticket that gets you .. what, exactly? The feeling of being a chump, i suspect.

Blizzcon offers so much more than this shanty ol' "con" of an event that's being hosted. Not to mention it's all for the release of one game. At least at Blizzcon you see new future content for current games, have the chance to play the beta for future games AND are given "goody bags" just for attending.
Goody bags meaning free "DLC" if you will. Activision is ASKING Blizzard how to host one of these cons cause they don't know how. This XP event is bound to suck balls.

I don't understand this attitude. Why can't all gamers get along? Blizzcon has three games, not that many but the fans that go to Blizzcon love those games and... this might sound crazy but the people who go to XP love Call of Duty games. I know, crazy but hear me out! XP also has goody bags (you have no idea what's in the XP bags yet... or do you?), live entertainment and the ability to play MW3 multiplayer/Spec Ops (which won't be out yet). You can get this information yourself from the source linked in the article.
Of course they would ask Blizzard how to host a con, why wouldn't they? Activision and Blizzard are one company so why not get advice instead of starting from scratch?
Also, did you see this? "Tickets are $150 each, with 100% of ticket sales going to the Call of Duty® Endowment a non-profit organization which seeks to help veterans find work and establish careers as they transition back to civilian life." Sounds nice, doesn't it?
I don't even like Call of Duty games but god damn, have some respect for the gamers that do!
