Or Canadians. Ubisoft just hates North America. This is not the first time they screwed us out of a decent CE. Look at the Black Edition of Brotherhood in Europe, versus the CE that North America got.

I'm sure they'll announce somethin soon.. And I'm sure I'll reserve it the same day... I can't see myself spending a reasonable sum of money on Assassin's Creed title... -sigh-

@Viridium...I've noticed this as well, Ubisoft seems to regard North America as the 2nd fiddle. I live in SF and wanted to get the CE version of the new Driver SF game, but it's only available in EU! I called Ubisoft asking why they continually do this to North America, but they didn't really have much response. Last year they announced a CE in Aug. so perhaps that will hold true for this year.

Kind of underwhelming compared to the last two collectors editions.

Ps3 isn't region coded so I might look into getting it shipped

@Wizardsofwaverly DLC often is though, so if there's any good downloadable content released you'll have to buy it with an account matching the region of the game disc.

ubisoft is europian so they're probably just giving back. America often gets the big editions and some games come out in America and Japan and not the eu
On a side note the animus edition does include the soundtrack Joystiq it says right on the product description. The Animus edition only lacks the artbook but that is swapped for the huge encyclopaedia
