I hate how Joystiq only likes to link to itself. It's like a click trap.

@The CJM That's funny, I came here just to make a comment about how annoying it is that they didn't link to the actual sale. I'm glad I'm not alone.

This is awesome, I'll definitely buy this. Good games, supporting indie devs and best of all, helping charities? Sounds like a win win win to me.

VVVVVV is just plain awesome, and Crayon Physics Deluxe is blow-your-mind cool if you have pen input.

Okay I don't really understand why the Humble Indie Bundle links to a Joystiq search instead of the website. Or rather I do, and I think it's sad that in order to get more hits, that would be done instead of putting a single link to the page that's selling games for charity.

Are any of these games any good? I bought the first 2 bundles, and I think the only game I ever played was Braid...which I owned on 360 anyways.

@Gooblechev Because you name your own price, and some of the proceeds go to charity.

@collinc Eh, still seems weird. Like trying to imply something.

I'm just paranoid though. It's cool of them to donate to charity.

Yeah, I'll probably pass on this one, unfortunately. I've played Cogs and V, and that's all I'm really interested in.

My initial donation all went to Child's Play. I'll toss in some more for the devs and the Humble Bundle folks once my paycheck hits on Friday.

Which is in no way, shape or form going to stop me from buying this one too.

Same here, but I consider them treats for a rainy day., or a long trip away from home.

Whether I end up playing the games or not, it feels good to support the developers and the eff, which is enough reason for me.

@Muskie It is, but the Frozenbyte bundle isn't considered one of the "main" numbered ones. Probably cause it was all from one dev rather than being a big group thing.

Hmmm... Couldn't find anything that looked interesting in either of the previous bundles, but this one looks like it might have a couple (in particular, Hammerfight is one I haven't heard of before that looks like it could be interesting.)

I don't know why you guys are complaining about why the links in the stories link to Joystiq, they ALWAYS do that.

You just need to scroll down a little and click on the source link... oh, wait...

There IS no source link!

Wow, this is a winning selection here.

I skipped out on the Frozenbyte one, but I'm happy to own another copy of VVVVVV (one of my favorite games of 2010) and... These are some big-name indie games. Can't wait to buy.

SWEET, I've been wanting VVVVV for a while. Those other games don't interest me as much (I'll still get them, but I'm mainly only doing this for that and charity) but still, this is awesome.

Bought every single bundle so far including frozen byte and this one! since notch is such an avid supporter I wouldn't be surprised if mc made it in the next bundle. :) Well I got this one mainly for vvvvvv and crayon physics deluxe. =) the others are just icing on the cake! :] love how they let us activate everything on steam. =) I donated to childs play since they seem like the best cause though if I do get payed in less then 2 weeks I'll donate some more for the devs and everyone else. :D

@Accessgranted I would be pretty surprised if MC made it into one of these any time soon. He's still making butt loads of money off of it, why sell it for a penny? I feel like these are way more for developers who need a boost.

@collinc

They are selling for "pay what you want" and even though a penny is part of that, it would be pretty despicable to buy this awesome bundle for a penny. Might as well pirate it if your going to be that cheap. (that's not directed at you unless you're one of those penny people. :P) Seems like the majority of people that want to play mc already have it or they pirated it, or a third option, they want it for the xbox. If mc were part of the next bundle it would bring good PR to notch since in a way, he's helping people get his game without pirating and helping other indie devs and charities, etc.

Bought and played them. Crayon Physics wasnt as good as what I imagined. V needs controller support stat. How can you release a 2D platform game and have no controller support in 2011?

Or, games are built to support it. it shouldn't be down to me to download 3rd party utilities just to get something as basic as controller support in a game
