So, will it be 2 hour long movie set in one set that gets blocked in different ways for different scenes?

Will they cast pornstars for companion characters?

Will the main plot be about investigating a strange case of strange guys jumping out from the roofs on people through the city?

And most importantly: Will it blend?

BTW: Dragon Age 2 has been removed from Steam as well...

Adds to the EA list of removed games from Steam.

I would love a Legend of the Seeker anime, or rather a Wizard's First Rule anime. I have never played DAO though, should I (big high fantasy fan here) play it?

@Therion

Yus, if you are big into Fantasy RPGS and liked Baldur's Gate it's definitely worth a go. Recommend the first over the second, as the first is more RPG/tactical and the second is a lot more combat based. The choices you make in the first seem more influential than the second.

Although started playing the first Witcher the other day, kinda tears Bioware apart when it comes to making in-game choices.

So if ME3 disappoints then you'll hate Mass Effect too?

If DA3 comes out and gets 90+ review scores he'll buy it just like everyone else.

Mass Effect came out first and your just now becoming a Mass Effect fan? Besides, i still have faith in Bioware. They gave us KoTOR, Jade Empire(which I would love to see make a comeback). And delivered us the amazing universe of Mass Effect and Dragon Age: Origins was awesome so everyone's allowed one bad game.

Hoping this anime is better than the Devil May Cry anime. While the Devil May Cry anime was enjoyable to watch, the story was non existent and the fights were a second long.

So because Funimation is involved, it HAS to be anime?

@schpelTiger

Is funimation the one animating it? I didn't realize they did in-house projects. As far as I was knew they were just a middleman who licensed and then subbed and dubbed anime.

@Mechazawa Prime
I don't know anything about the project but presumably, Funimation (US) are producing it and the actual animation is done by a Japanese studio. Either that, or all the text on the storyboards and character designs is in Japanese purely for comedy value or because somebody thought it looked cool; but I think probably not.

It's somewhat controversial whether this sort of project should really be called 'anime' because the script etc. often comes from the West (i.e. it may be more equivalent to the situation where Japanese anime shows sometimes outsource animation for an entire episode to Korea, and we don't randomly start calling those by the Korean word for cartoons instead; similarly with, historically, a bunch of French shows that were animated in Japan). Life's too short to argue about that word though (hell, even if they want to call it 'manga') so I won't bother.

The character design is okay! Yay. I was a bit disappointed they haven't actually made any animation yet... not much of a 'trailer' there.

Basically though whether this is anime, live-action movie, or a new flavour of energy drink the golden rule still applies: any entertainment product based on a video game license will be shite. End of.

You call that a trailer? It's just some wobbly concept art.
