If anyone plays the game, try this custom town, "Los Aniegos", you need the Late Night expansion pack though but its an amazing custom world!

@Awsaim The consoles will get the Pets expansion pack alongside the PC version in the fall, that's all for the consoles at this point.

To make you feel better, consoles get tons of games the PC never will and even with multiplatform games, the consoles get DLC the PC never does, ala Dead Space 2, Burnout Paradise, Prince of Persia (2008), etc.

Justin, who told you about Aunt Debby? Because that blabber-mouth's dank dungeon is about to get a little smaller.

Aww, I have an Aunt Debby in reality. I would never do that to her!

Is it just me or do a lot of these look like a 1999 CG render?

@TraceurRyuk Part III

This one didn't take 4 supercomputers and 3 days to render.

I tried using their town editor once. It seemed to have obfuscated it deliberately. It makes EA's other map editors seem perfectly sane.

I would reasonably buy a town for a buck since it does take some time to make sure there's no game breaking conflicts, but 5-10 bucks is a bit ridiculous.

Not this time EA.

@Mmmmz
It's quite complex and can take some dedicated time to get used to. The "world" editor certainly is no picnic. I tried making a Sims 3 world recreation of Persona 3's Iwatodai. ...didn't turn out so great due to the fact that I don't know whether to put mountains or misc. "border city" beyond the Iwatodai map camera.

Off Topic but my goodness...

Eva Mendes was decapitated by Pantene and forced her to hold her head for an ad...

Perhaps it's time I turn adblock back on...

I never really saw the point of the Sims on the consoles :( Without the ability to do what makes it so much fun (editing), it just comes across as a rather boring :(

Played the PS3 version the other day and it was yawn worthy, I want the funny customisations :(

Can't even do that on most sites now because:

We've noticed that you may have some form of Ad-block on, therefore we cannot provide you with free service as adverts are our main source of income, balh blah blah

Rather annoying -_-

"doorless closet until she died in a pool of her own self-mess"

Back when I played these on the Gamecube I was fond of building a small annexed room with a fire place and precariously placed cheap (read: flammable) rug I think there were about 7 or eight tombstones in the backyard near the pool, it was great! Of course, the apparitions did nothing for the sanity of the tenants, but I always got a kick out of it.

everytime I read something about the Sims (and by read I mean kinda of haphazardly gloss over while looking for more meaningful posts about resident evils, last guardians, and Blade and souls...)
...I always briefly remember of sadistically spooking the bejeebus out of my unfortunate sims, and wonder if they had ever upgraded the poltergeist system.

Wish they would freakin' release stuff for the PS3 version. I'd like to get my wife some stuff but all she has to work with is the custom stuff the other players make like furniture.

My goodness my wife accomplishes things quick in The Sims. I can't get anything done!
