Gotham City Impostors gameplay video gives a real look at the fake Batmen

at the real fake Batmen and Jokers from Monolith's Gotham City Impostors in this in-game trailer, showing off close-quarters combat and innovative jack-in-the-box weaponry a la TF2 meets DCUO. We think Impostors looks like a heap of fun, but even if you don't, at least the characters themselves are having a good time -- half of the players can't seem to wipe those cheek-to-cheek grins off their faces.

I'd think Batman would have a problem with a bunch of people dressing up like him and shooting other people in the street.

This really does look like a lot of fun. Unfortunately I'm really awful at FPS games and that may prevent me from playing more than a few casual games at a friend's house.

Rated M For Maroon. This game looks so dumb. But I guess that's the point.

I feel like I'm going to spend a lot of my time with Batman AC playing this. It looks really fun. I'm not much in to the goofy first person shooter type games, but I'll have to give this a shot.

You not going to be spending any time in Batman AC playing this. It is a separate downloadable game. You can leave your Batman AC disc in your XBox and pretend it is part of Batman AC if you want.

@whylekat It *does* seem like that, and maybe it is. But the game is a ton of fun (played it at E3), and is filled with humor and creativity. So I mean, whatever. If more dev studios are given "cash-in" tasks by the suits and they turn that into an awesome, fun experience then I'm all for it.

Okay all those sick gadgets actually make this game kinda cool.

I actually was really hyped about the game when I heard about it, but watching the trailer, the hype has gone down for me. It seems like the game will focus heavily on guns, and it's cool they are adding gadgets and what note, but I would have wished it was strictly with gadgets. Still, that was my initial hope, but now it looks like a fun game to play.

It almost seems TOO unique and interesting though. Monday Night Combat had a lot of fun, new stuff to bring to the shooter genre but it wasn't well rewarded.
