Agent's first art pops up on concept artist's portfolio

Rockstar's PlayStation 3 exclusive, Agent, remains a mystery. The game has yet to be shown off by the GTA developer since its first reveal in 2009, but a concept artist's portfolio, which was recently discovered by GameSpot, seems to show off the game's first visuals.
Former concept artist Leigh Donoghue outed the images on his personal website, which have since been removed. Donoghue is currently employed as an architecture visualization specialist (a concept artist for reality, if you will), though he presumably drew up the concept art for Agent at Rockstar North during his employment there from April 2005 to November 2009 -- an employment which ended just months after Agent's E3 reveal that year. We've reached out to Rockstar and Take-Two for comment, but the fact that the images have been removed, not to mention the fact that Donoghue drew concept art for a variety of other Rockstar projects while employed there, lend plenty of credence to their validity.
Otherwise, the most recent news from Take-Two/Rockstar about Agent is that it's "still in development," alongside the rarely seen Max Payne 3. Perhaps the Agent and Mr. Payne are cavorting around South America together?

This game must be in development hell. Still haven't seen so much as a single screenshot.
I'll probably get destroyed for saying this, but IF this game ever comes out I highly doubt it will still be a PS3 exclusive. Too much money is being spent on this super-long development cycle for it to only be released on one platform, IMO.

Depends, if Sony paid up front for the title like they did for the likes of Heavenly Sword for example, then its no real skin off of Rockstar's back. Its a rockstar game, they put 100% into anything they make so I'm sure it will be good and I'm sure it will sell, exclusive or not. And if it just so happens to be awesome and exclusive, Sony just bagged themself one hell of a killer app.
Besides, Microsoft can't talk, why is Gears still exclusive? Not for any one particular reason according to Epic, its simply that they wanted it to be. So I don't see the issue with Rockstar doing the same thing. Especially now that they aren't working with Bondi to create this game.

That entirely depends on how much Sony paid and what Sony is doing to help. This is Sony we are talking about, the same company that does what it can to lower the overhead costs of those who make exclusives for its console in the same way Microsoft does. It takes some guts to say a game is exclusive unless you can see the benefits in it.
Who knows what the development time is the cause of, we'll find out soon enough and I'm not saying the game won't go exclusive, but its far too early to cast that judgement.
Like I said, if Epic has few reasons to keep making Gears an exclusive, why should Rockstar need to explain itself?

People just don't bag publishers like Rockstar, and then expect a developement cycle of 2+ years... Im pretty sure the cost of developing goes alot further than ur implying... So I'm pretty sure it there would be some "skin off their backs" if they were taking their sweet ass time for a "killer app" that Sony ponied up for...

agent is a full ps3 exclusive ..the 2 stories seem to be that either 1. Sony parted with l.a noire after funding it for several years and instead of money inked a deal for this exclusive game.. or 2. instead of gta 4 being a ps3 exclusive, sony let rockstar out of that contract and penned a new one making agent an exclusive. pick a story...doesnt really matter.
