Nothing "wut" about it. Gaming input accessories are usually $15-150.

Pretty decent price for a mouse with that many buttons. If I ever get back into WoW this thing would be awesome for healing.

"you can even configure the lighting colors to match up to a certain profile, telling you how it's set with just a look."

The one feature I wish my G700 had. Sometimes I forget to change it to my gaming profile, and it can be hard to tell if I got it right so I gotta try hitting the DPI-change button >_>

There's a profile button on the g700, it will indicate the profile by lighting up a set number of the lights.

You know that wired is preferred for gaming mice, right? It's because with a wired mouse, you don't have to worry about any possible signal issues between the mouse and the receiver. Sure, wireless technology has evolved greatly over the years, but it still isn't as reliable as a wired connection.

If you need wireless, then a gaming mouse isn't for you.

I've been a PC gamer since before Quake 2 lan-parties were cool and i've never had any inclination to ever use wireless. On the few occasions i've been forced to use it, the responsiveness just wasnt there in comparison to a good USB gaming mouse. I use a Sharkoon Fireglider at the moment and its a great budget gaming mouse.

Wireless introduces extra latency and the hassle of charging batteries while bringing to the table absolutely nothing but a slight aesthetic upgrade to your desk.

@BPMOmega XBL PSN Steam Here I don't like wireless mice because the weight distribution is uncomfortable and running out of batteries in the middle of something sucks.

@Esposch wireless outlives wired, as those cables wear out after a few years.

Uh no, they don't. I have mice that are 10 years old and work just as well as any other. The cables don't "wear out" unless you do something to them yourself, like cut them on something.

Ah yes, another advantage of wired:
Dodgy cables are easier to fix than dodgy bluetooth connections.

shit, that doesn't sound half bad, most of Logitech's gaming mice kinda suck balls (the normal ones are great though). too bad it's not wireless, I just can't deal with mouse wires ...

I hate to be THAT GUY but;

"the mouse is ambidextrous"
"the buttons are laid out symmetrically"
"you can use it with either your right or your left hand"

Explaining the same thing in 3 different ways is a bit
patronising to your audience.

You can hide one half with a mirror and can't tell the difference.

It's like two half-mice conjoined twins.

It's the Rorschach test of mice.

The left and right were staring at each other until they realised it was just a picture frame with a hole in the wall.

Wait...who uses mice with their left hand? I'm a lefty, as are a couple of my friends, and we all use our right hands 100% of the time when using a mouse. Also, I can use both hands equally well with trackpads. Providing support for left handed people is nice for console games and scissors and stuff, but it isn't necessary with computer equipment, apparently.

Seems alright as a low-end gaming mouse. I spent $65 though for a CM Storm Sentinel Advance, and while not ambidextrous, it's great for those that are right-handed.

@That One Guy Look up a build, practice against the computer a few times, then just play. Or at least do custom games if you don't want to ladder. No use in letting it sit on the hard drive :)

Logitech makes a crappy Flightstick, but they do make a damn fine mouse. I been using my MX510 going on 7 years or more. Still functions like the day I bought it.

@HaVoK308 +1. I was just telling my friend the other day how I'm still using my red MX510 because it just keeps going without issue. Maybe I'm missing out on some fancy new technology ( or bullet point), but until it dies I'm sticking with it.

Yeah, I mean why post something about an affordable gaming mouse that might help someone get into PC gaming. Why would anyone find that relevant on a gaming website?

It's a USB mouse, so I can't see why not. Maybe programming the extra buttons may be an issue (unless Logitech has Mac software developed), but... if you're interested in PC gaming, you'd be better served by Windows than Mac OS X, anyways...

The laser on it cuts off if you lift the mouse up, or move it really fast.

I almost shat bricks at the low price. Then I looked at the overall specs and realized it's worse than the G500 that I have for 49.99. FAR better the G500 is. The ONLY thing this mouse has going for [and isn't worth saving 10 dollars for literally less-than half the DPI] is the color change, and the fact that you can use it with either hand. It's rare seeing a left-handed person use a mouse in their left hand though..so that seems almost pointless. Also, before people say "I use them in my left hand" Cool story bro, you're one of the very very very few.
