@Shockwave Well. they've added a bunch of features, like combo and parry training modes, and online. I think it's a pretty fair price^^ I bought it without hesitation, but then again, I really love Street Fighter 4 more than anything and I want to experience the third one aswell. :-P

I've got the Space Marine and Street Fighter III demos downloading, but I think that that's all I'll probably be getting this week. With the end of the years games beginning to roll out, I think that anything coming off either XBLA or PSN is gonna have to wait. Plus $15 for SFIII is a little too high of an asking price, especially for a game that's almost 15 years old. I think I'm gonna wait until it's on sale for like $9.99 or so.

€15? It may well be the best version of the game (though I think DC version on a physical disc that won't get wiped or taken down in the future trumps any online feature), but SFIII is still the least interesting of the proper SF games. It wasn't that popular at the time, the art style is weird, most of the characters are stupid, the 'rap' on the character select is horrendous, the whole thing just has a weird, unpleasant atmosphere. I never enjoyed playing it at all, and while I'm not better better at SFIV, that game *is* enjoyable.

Just played it. Totally awesome, because it's totally SFIII, but the Trials modes are pretty disappointing. They're fun, yeah, but I was hoping they'd teach new players how to learn the basics, and they definitely do not. It would've been an awesome way to help my friends catch up since they're not as into fighting games so we can actually compete.

All these trials do is tell you "HEY DO THIS" like every other dumb fighting game "tutorial" but offer no feedback. Like the parrying one. It should tell you whether you're too early or too late, whether your rhythm is off. You should be able to slow it down and practice like you can to learn parts of songs in Guitar Hero and Rock Band, and gradually speed it up.

But that's like, my ONE complaint. Everything else is SO EFFING AWESOME. Welcome to the world of Street Fighter III.

What's really lame is that they got rid of the option to pre-order SFIII at the special price with bonuses days ago. I have no idea why.

@Softserve The only thing you miss out on if you don't pre-order is the theme. Everything else is still there as long as you buy it before 9/20.

Why is everyone complaining about the price of Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition? It's really not a bad price at all. I pre-order right away when it was available. I just got done playing for an hour and a half and it was a blast. There's basically no loading time for everything. The game is very smooth, and the trials/challenges add a lot of replay value.

Bodycount demo wasn't that good the graphics are sub par the shooting controls are good I do enjoy enjoy the bullet shredding but, I won't be buying this game until it gets cheap I have too many games on pre order from now till the end of November
