We all know that PES will again, unfortunately, fail miserably.
FIFA will win out yet again due to its 'listen to the fans' mentality and adding what we want, where as Konami just add what THEY want.

Shame. I spent my youth on PES, only abandoning it at PES6, due to its role reversal, FIFA 08 won me over, and I have never looked back since!

I fell in love with PES on the PS2 and bought all of them although the last few iterations started to lose me a little. It was FIFA09 that finally moved me over. I can't remember the lead guy's name, but I read an article that he was a PES fanatic himself and basically dumped the annual gimmicks and got the game to play a decent game of football. Kudos where it's due.

Fifa 94 to 98, ISS PRO 98, WE till WE10 (or PES counterpart), FIFA 08+.

FIFA 08 was a game changer!

Yeah, it seems everyone changed their tune when FIFA 08 came about - it really was a game changer, and PES just fell by the wayside.

There used to be a time when FIFA was the arcade game, and PES the simulation. Sorry state of affairs at Konami ruined that.

So longs I have a game that can respectfully be played with 2 or more players, with ups and downs like the real game, aka FIFA, then I am happy.

Konami really need to take a look at themselves and LISTEN to their fans (like David Rutter did with FIFA) and get themselves back to what they used to have. Unfortunately, I can not see it happening anytime soon.

Bought SF3 and am regreting it.
Its called SF3 Online and yet I wait for hours for a single ranked match and all I get is a failed notice.

And don't go saying that my connection sucks, I have over 2000 online matchs in SSF4 with no lag whatsoever.

Another Capcorn screw-up, trying to drive me insane with hours of rap.

Try giving it a couple of days, maybe as more people buy the game it will be easier to find fights...If in a week there are still connection issues, then you're probably right about the online component being a failure.

Wow. Why can't Sony here in the US/NA give awesome discounts on so many PSP games?

This. Same with PS3 downloadable games, to a lesser extent. I am almost always jealous of the European PS3 sales compared to ours.

Thing is, you have you to remember that 99% of the time we get screwed over with the conversion rates. While, for example, Rockband was $150 in America, it was also £150 in the UK and back then it was just a little short of two dollars to the pound.

@DCGX NA get a lot more PSone games, and maybe decent indie themes..
Most weeks that I have a look at the store, I've exited within 2 minutes without spending a coin
