the naming convention has me more surprised that its not a completely new disc based version of the game that capcom is going to release next year (which might still happen anyway, it is capcom)

Quite a bit of changes, though I wish they wouldn't keep adding on to the title. SSFIV: AEv2012 is getting hard to say.

@jynxycat Yeah, good shit for everyone. Glad Juri is getting selectable trajectories on her EX divekick. I'm sicking of wasting meter trying to set up her U2. She's going to be a pretty big threat from any distance now.

I'll miss the scrubby Yun players that think picking top tier means you win without doing any work. He needed a nerf, but a majority of Yuns I played against never even blocked.

The selectable trajectory is only during her Feng Shui Engine, so she can't use U2 to combo after it. I hope they change that after the loc tests.

Speaking of SFIII, how come I saw no mention of a new intro song for SFIII with the PSN/Live release?

It was a rather big deal to me to hear this at bootup, as well as the missing original intro.

I'm mixed on the change. I'll probably be popping back on the Dreamcast version as I just didn't care about the HDing done, and I'm not an online person.

I'm confused by this, because the translation I saw on SRK didn't mention it only being valid during FSE. It was listed after her FSE changes, so I'm hoping it's just an error on this translator's part. Seems odd that they would make such a logical change and limit it to FSE when her U2 is already lacking in reliable setups. Improved hitbox on her FA will also do a bit to remedy that, though.

Always enjoyed beating Ken and Sagat scrubs with Dan. I'm not even that good, but Dan has always appealed to me and for some reason found it quite easy to do ok with him.

Adjusting Evil Ryu down is good, but why he was put into the game at all is beyond me. Akuma was already too powerful and flat ou frustrating to play against. Capcom can't seem to find the right balance between 'cool' characters who are meant to God like and making a balanced fighter that isn't unfair.

At least Capcom isn't pullin' a MvC3 with this, or so I hope. Ono's still been good about making updates and such available to even those that only bought the very first iterations of SFIV.

Nice to hear Blanka's comboable rolling attack now knocks down. Though it boggles me that it's still not the case for EX Up ball. It'd be nice to have a reversal that can't be punished on hit by most the cast.
