Consider me in. If I can do ANYTHING to show them Shotgun Rain must be taken care of and treated well, I will do it.

I just got Borderlands GOTY at Steam for $5. The screen tearing is really really bad. Here is a tool that will fix it and a bunch more stuff too.

@GordoJones88 Really cool, but wouldn't this be more suited for, say, the Borderlands forums or Steam forums?

@YimYimYimi Considering they're discussing the very idea of using data from the previous game to give them ways to make the second game...

I'd say it's DAMN relevant. I bought the GOTY version this morning, too. I've played to level 20 and the screen tearing has been very annoying.

That tool fixed it and allowed my $780 of bad-ass graphics hardware to run the game CORRECTLY. I'd say that's damned relevant if they want the issue to not appear in the next game.

Don't you have something better to do than reprimand someone who was well within his right?

@GordoJones88 Thanks for that link, man.

I've been playing it all day and that screen tearing has been driving me NUTS. I've got a bad-ass rig built so I know it's not the machine.

That tool fixed it perfectly and now it runs smooth as silk on full res and settings.

Well done, sir. :)

This is me, laughing at all the people that don't know how to force Vsync on their games when it's not natively allowed. Hah. hah. hah. hah, really?

So... They can detect my modded weapons and new area (the DLC just isn't enough!) mods on the game now? D: I hope they don't try to remove them like last time

Especially gunslingers, cause that pistol is then a Thanatos, and you are officially boned. :p

I was at the panel. All in attendance got for a for a free copy of borderlands 2 when it releases, and pizza. Was really awesome.

Does anyone know if they're using the awful p2p setup for mp matches or do we get servers?

I'm really surprised they are just not turning on Cloud saving. I really hope Borderlands 2 requires me. I hate on DRM, but it is a game that sort of requires constant connection for any save that is gonna be used online. The save editing in Borderlands PC was goddam rampant and out of control for a while. I saw a dude that had a gun that couldn't even been rendered correctly because pieces were so mismatched, but it had the clip of a Thanatos (+56 rounds), fired at 800% speed (like Sledge's Shotty) and fired corrosive rockets. >=|

It was even more rape than your typical Thanatos gunslinger Mordecai.

@Jennacide They some what fixed the modding issue. Now, if you have a gun that doesn't follow the game's gun generating algorithm, it will be deleted from inventory once you go ingame. Still, cloud saving is nice. I still manually back up my save file in case I reinstall my operating system or what not. You cannot imagine what it would feel like if I accidentally deleted all that 250+ hours of hard work with almost all achievements.

I would like it if they fixed the frame rate issues on PS3 when you deliver the kill shot to certain enemies, oh well. Maybe it'll be better in Borderlands 2.
