I love Brother in Arms! I hope they keep the series alive when the next batch of consoles come out.

You just blew my mind by reminding me that BIA Furious Four is a thing.

Brothers in Arms is one of my favourite series and was disheartened when I learned that they were going away from the story of Baker. Glad that Gearbox hasn't abandoned the story they had going on. So I guess I'll have to go back to waiting patiently by playing the bazillion games coming out this fall/winter

A small detail I know, but "Red" Hartsock was the lead in Earned in Blood, not Baker. But uh, yeah, woo, hurray, more Baker.

That Furious Four thing.. I mean it sounds like WW2 Borderlands which whatever, but why did they put it under the BiA franchise? It's completely out of whack with everything that's gone before. Bizarre.

Originality is not Gearbox's strong suit.

That's good to hear. I loved the characters in BIA(Red was my favorite). The last game was great. The story was pretty emotional. Especially if you followed the brothers from the first game.

As sick as I am of WWII shooters, the BIA series stood out for it's attempt at presenting a tactical shooter experience. I like controlling a squad. That said, I'm still sick of WWII shooters- the only thing I'm more tired of is dude-bro shooters.

Thank God Gearbox has seen fit to combine the two with Furious Four. It pretty much guarantees I won't be playing it.

I'm actually so sick of modern shooters that I'm pining for a good WW2 shooter.

Ironic.
