After ODST and Reach, my Halo fandom has gone from a 11 out of 10 to a 4.
343 is coming to the rescue though. That concept art trailer is what I was hoping to see 4 years ago. It looks so fresh, yet so 'halo'.
The audio track for the concept art trailer was the best Halo audio I've heard since Halo:CE. It's like Halo and Mass Effect's scores kiss for the win.

I will also have to disagree. I lost almost complete interest in Halo after #2, 3 brought it back a little, ODST was an interesting spin-off, and Reach was the best in the series since the first one.
The concept art is pretty awesome, though some of it doesn't really have the same "Halo" feel to it. But maybe that's a good thing, the series could use some fresh ideas.

The concept art of the buildings around 40 seconds looks a bit like the cover art from the novel Halo: Cryptum.

Buildings that look like they've been dropped out of the air into a rocky / hilly landscape, without any roads leading to or from them? Check. Yeah, it's a Halo game.
Rusted out garage? Well, that could be just about any other shooter. Glad to see they aren't going for the lowest common denominator.

I was hoping that the legendary ending in Halo 3 was alluding to the events in Ghosts of Onyx somehow (what with the giant glowing planet type thing). *SPOILER* I was thinking that the planet the Chief is heading towards would be the outer shell of the shield world where Dr. Halsey and friends were stuck in. It would be cool to see those characters in Halo 4, but alas, this concept art seems to show otherwise. I like the direction this is heading in though.

The art gives the impression the game will be vast. I like that. Though that music was clearly not Marty O'Donnell created. It was just ok.

2 things
1. WOW It looks so slick, seems like they are moving into the fringes of Halo lore rather than just making it up.
2.WHAT IS THAT THING AT THE END D'X
Scaweee :(

Got to tell you guys – even though this model in the video is based on an Objet 3D printed ‘rapid prototyped’ mold – you can very easily produce the entire Halo figure from start to finish on the Objet Connex multi-material 3D printer. We’ve printed the original Halo figure, complete with up to 14 different material shades and textures in a single print run – no gluing, no painting and all produced automatically in under a couple of hours. Check out the photo at the bottom of the page under ‘Model Images’: http://www.objet.com/Objet%20Connex350/
