Japan will receive the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade cabinets on September 14, with an international launch loosely slated for late September at the earliest. Now that we've gotten the easy stuff out of the way, here's the hard part: actually finding an arcade you can play this in. If you don't live in Japan, are you willing to take one expensive vacation just to play an arcade game?
Of course, Namco's thinking about you stay-at-home types. You have plenty to look forward to in Tekken Hybrid, which not only includes the CG movie and an HD remake of the first Tekken Tag Tournament, but also an early taste of the sequel.

But will this Tekken movie feature a return of the greatest foe ever; giant invisible assassin dinosaurs?

I'm not so hyped for fighting games, but tekken is cool. The Persona fighter that was just announced seems a lot better imo. I loved BlazBlue.

I was interested in tekken hybrid until i saw the price. I'm a huge fan and $50 is way too steep.

I'm really surprised at the lack of interest in this or Hybrid overall. TTT was one of the greatest Tekkens and imo fighters ever. Ill gladly shell out 50 bucks to play in HD with online support/chat. Plus a taste of TTT2 yes please. Although I can see how some people may be turned off to the series after 6.

Dave & Buster's are the only "arcades" left in the NYC area (other than some back alley in Chinatown)... but they rarely get fighting games -- it's all racers, shooters and Deal or No Deal trivia games.
/awaits the console release of TTT2).
