The game looks like it has a unique style but the music and sounds are too much like a distorted Terminator.

"too much like a distorted Terminator" Umm, have you seen a Battlefield 3 trailer lately? For I game I'll most likely never play, I think that trailer was pretty cool. The cartoony graphics seem a little odd for the tone of the music and voice-over. Well done in any case.

This game gives me goosebumps. Borderlands art style with first or third-person view with team-based co-op? Yes, please. Hope I get into the beta!

To each his own but the trailer soundtrack and narration didn't jive with the art direction I saw on the screen. Now if the look and feel of the game was more like I was hearing I would be all over this.

Is anyone else getting really good at looking at trailers for new games and being able to tell if they are F2P or not?

@bewm

Eh, law of averages. You might not be getting better at sussing them out, but rather there are so many more F2P titles these days that you'd more likely to assume correctly.

The game certainly doesn't lack in presentation or appeal, although I personally loathe the "freemium" model. I guess it'll depend on what they're flogging in the cash shop to decide whether or not I can enjoy this particular game. I wish these games had alternative payment options... like whittling away at your wallet over time via microtransactions, OR, paying a flat $60 for the game and getting access to everything from the word go.

The only thing they are charging for is aesthetics and some convenience items that are yet to be determined. All content is free and you can't buy your way to power.

I've been following this game's development for a while, actually.

This trailer is pretty off-key with the material that I've seen to date... At least the audio is.

Here is the link to the site. Go check it out a bit for yourselves. The site has changed a little since the last time I loaded it so... I'll have to do the same.

The trailer above just didn't excite me nearly as much as some of the other videos have. Moreover... The audio reminded me of one of the Battlefield 3 trailers... (Hate to say it but we're all thinking it, I'm sure.) The narrator sounds more like Christian Bale as Batman, too... LOL!

Did anyone mention that this is going to be a FREE-TO-PLAY MMO?

The beta is set to start sometime within the week following PAX, too. Although there are no details on how they're choosing beta testers, either.

Here is some footage from PAX 2010. This is the video that led to my discovery of the game, actually.

@BlackMoonWolf

Is it going to be a real MMO, or more like Global Agenda?
