Shadows of the Damned soundtrack coming to Japan [update: available now internationally]

Grasshopper Manufacture announced the very welcome news that it will release a soundtrack CD containing Akira Yamaoka's full score on Shadows of the Damned. The pre-order soundtrack was nice, but incomplete; this disc will have all 21 tracks, including "Shadows of the Damned," performed with The Damned.

In addition, GHM will release a guide book called "Kurayami Magazine," named after an earlier iteration of the game. It features a long interview with Suda 51 and original character designs.

Both items are listed on the Japanese GHM store website, with the soundtrack available tomorrow and the book on September 9. Neither has been posted on the American store yet, and we're asking-slash-begging Grasshopper for more information.

Update: GHM is selling the soundtrack on its international site now, limited to 1,000 copies. The first 300 will be signed by Akira Yamaoka!

Finally, justice for the crime that was leaving the Sushi-Lamp song off the original "selected-tracks" soundtrack.

I weep every single night because this game didn't sell. DAMN YOU, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!

The last two bosses left a sour taste in my mouth, though I may pick this up.

I just got this game used. Bring on the pain.

Same here, I didnt finish because I got sooo tired of him, and by that time, I had already seen what the last boss was like, so being spoiled I moved on, no hard feelings...

On another note, I downloaded an 'full' OST gamerip that had 131 Tracks with a Playtime of 4 Hours 51 Minutes 5 Seconds, but it didnt even have any of the spanish guitar music nor any of the loading screen musics

If this doesnt have some of either, I am over this

Same. I can handle "tough" games, but the last two bosses were pretty tedious and took far longer to fight than they really should have (same with the final shmup segment). Other than that? It was a damned (...) fine game.

The soundtrack is up on the US store now, $29.85. The shipping is dastardly though, about $15, so make sure to stock up on a few things while you're at it.

@mooseifer69 Apparently the first 300 copies are signed by the man himself: Akira Motherf****g Yamaoka, the price tag was kinda scary at first but it's worth it for his signature.
