Can't wait for this game. If it was up to me Rocksteady would work on a Superman or Green Lantern game next. They are amazing devs.

Wow... I played through arkham asylum twice for one achievement (biggest bang) and I was hoping not to do that again, but here we.

A little bit odd that no difficulty level was mentioned.

Based on interviews I've seen/read, it sounds like New Game+ in Arkham City is the equivalent of Hard difficulty in Arkham Asylum. While New Game+ lets you keep all your equipment, it is harder as well - more enemies, changed patrols, etc. So I could see this easily replacing a hard difficulty setting.

i just played through Arkham Asylum on hard the first time. it really wasn't that much more difficult, especially because the game is primarily stealth-based anyway.

Woot new game plus!!! Can't wait. I also can't wait for the predater challenges and the Riddler! Woooott

I hope the challenges aren't as hardcore trophy wise in that regard since there is so much more to do.

I beat it and got plat but I tried again for my cousin who was having trouble with like the last fight and I just couldn't seem to make the points again.

It's easier then you think. Just take your time and be mindful of what buttons you're pressing. Don't mash!

I probably got arthritis on those last challenges in the last game.

So... Since so many of the campaign cheevos say "As Batman", I'm assuming that this means new game+ you'll be able to play as the other characters?

@Nova17899 Robin and Catwoman, if I'm not mistaken.

@jiminycracken Robin is not playable in the main story, and Catwoman is only playable at parts of it. There's also a 4th unannounced character :o

All but one of those achievements which say "As Batman" are all for the out of game challange maps.

New Game+!! Calendar Man!!

Achievements. Achieve what exactly? Higher gamerscore. And that's good why? Because it shows you play games a lot.

Maybe it would solve the education crises in deprived areas, offer meaningless points upon completion of their work.

Acheivements/Trophies enchance lasting appeal for a game and gives players more bang for their buck. Batman:AA would've only lasted about 6 hours (maybe more) if you simply only played from start to finish one time, but the extra goals make it last for a lot longer.

true, and sometimes achievements have crazy things that you didn't even know you could do in the game. take The Orange Box, for example. i never would have known about the horror of transporting gnome Chompski throughout the entire second episode if i hadn't done a little research on the Little Rocket Man achievement. worst HL2 experience ever. i got about halfway through til i said f*%(@ that!!!

God damn it, I hated those in the original. I'd have platinum if it weren't for those.

@Extinction you got all the high scores needed in the challenge rooms but yet you couldnt perform a 50 hit combo? c'mon now.

@Extinction The 50+ combo is dead easy in the later combat rooms that contain one or two of the big guys that you bash and leap onto their backs. You combo around until one drops and then use it to smash everyone around it. Each attack can hit multiple people, so the combo point rack up very quickly. Just make sure you bash the second big guy enough to drop him to his knees so you can jump on him and continue the combo. From memory I got to about 80 combo hits before I cleared the level in about 2 minutes.

I got over 100+ combo in one of the last combat Challenge Maps. I always tell everyone it's way easier then you think, just don't mash the buttons!
