At first it looked awesome but it kinda just kept getting worse as the video progressed,

I like the one that holds an iphone better.

No room for the arm? Poppycock! All you need to do to fix that is remove the arm in question, then attach the pipboy in the right place! We'll just call it the PIP-Boy 2999.5!

If the fallout game come with a pip-boy like that i wouldn't mind paying any price for the limited edition. I don't even mind if i can't wear it as long as i can sync my game stats with my PIP-Boy 3000.

Doesn't mean anything, just because someone else has done this doesn't mean everything after that is going to suck.

This one looks better because of the button interactions (Rather than using a ipod)

Although it's a shame you can't equip it :(

Nah, just hollow out some more of the casing and replace some of that through hole with some SMP and you should be golden.

They also probably make LED buttons that would fix that lighted button issue quite nicely ^^

I love what looks to be a bag of Fritos in the background.

But this is some seriously cool stuff. Too bad he wasn't able to get it to fit on his wrist. :-)

This was awesome until he turned it around and I saw he couldn't put his arm in it. Seriously though, I hope it is acceptable to one day have our phone/tablet/computer thing mounted to our wrists at all times.

Bezerker!

I am glad you mentioned the Pimp Boy because I was gonna otherwise.
Today I discovered it actually exists in New Vegas, along with a bunch of other easter eggs I missed the first 4 times playing through new vegas. I can't believe I still missed so much in that game. It truly is amazing.

Oh yeah, the pip boy is real neat!

Also, in old world blues I found they really DID have a walking eye! (a couple actually) from the venture bros cartoon. And it really IS the guy who voices Rusty. Thanks Wild Wasteland perk!

That's pretty sweet~!

If only he'd made the part that goes around your wrist bigger--then he could have placed a smooth surface (something more durable than plastic) over the wires so that they'd be hidden and the Pip-Boy could just slide on.

Oh well! I'm sure he'll think of a way to fix that problem!

If I had the skills I'd make one of these but link it to a high end heart rate monitor or something similar. This way the pip-boy can actually measure something in your own body. Add in a geiger counter and the phone's normal capabilities like accelerometer, GPS mapping, wi-fi, radio, etc and something like the Tri-corder app on android.
So with the above, and the dials that are from this build, it would basically be a useful, working pip-boy.
