I'm not pre-ordering this, but I do hope I get it for Christmas. I've got my own money already laid down on Halo CE Anniversary, MW3, and Elder Scrolls V. The wife won't let me pre-order anything else.

Indeed. It's just EA shooting themselves on the foot trying to have their cake and eat it too. With non-Steam exclusivity the only thing they're doing is ensuring MW will beat them in sales PC-wise. And since BF3's main platform is the PC, it makes the decision all the more baffling.

@ProfessorBonkle Bad Company 2 still looks pretty good on console and that was the last game, so I presume this will still be a pretty good improvement on that, maybe not PC quality, but I think the gameplay and destruction and Rush mode is more than enough reason to pick this up.

Truth be told, that right there stopped me from pre-ordering BF3. It's bad enough to sit on the name, but to direct you to BF3 stuff?? FAIL.

I'll wait till it drops in price, which should be sooner than later to compete with MW3.. In fact, I'm getting that MW3 360 as well as the Hardened Ed. -Just like I did with MW2..

Oh, for the record, BFBC2 wasn't bad until seeing whole teams of snipers or medics.. But the sound effects Kill MW...
