I agree with slomoshun last two years has been WAY to causal friendly way to much. WoW has become to bad friendly and that was the true downfall for it of course it brought new subs to the game but it also made doing less i was down with basicly every quest all rep every blue gear for my warrior less then a month of release also got the tol barad dragon mount one of the first few to get it. the only way i'd ever go back to wow is if someone payed for my sub or it went free. either way wow has been on a straight lost of subscribers. and really final boss already and its only been 1 patch(i do not count the troll dungeons as a patch for it brought more new players easy epics). the end

OK. This may be enough for me to stick around until Skyrim. I was going to cancel my WOW sub when Skyrim came out. I still may, just depends on how soon 4.3 hits. WOW has become so boring to me and the thought of a new expansion with 5 more levels and few more zones and one more horrible profession just seems like, been there done that to me. Can't wait for Trochlight 2 and Diablo 3.

Great, transmogriphication. 5 years too late for me. Great game, strange community, stubborn devolopers. They made the game more accessible to those who don't have time, but served us whatever they wanted and we'd have to pay eagerly for it. Great write up, monotonous game.

Wait, so that huge monster that was in all of the TV spots for the expansion pack isn't even in the game yet?

I'm at a loss.

The main boss is never included into the game right away. The pro players would defeat it, report it, then everyone would follow suit, with nothing to do afterwards.

It's quite nostalgic to read all the things that have happened with WoW since when I quit playing it back in 2007. It's like reading about what my life would have been like if I hadn't given it up.

I quit right before Tier 7 came out. Nothing was ever going to be as cool as my Undead Warlock in full Tier 6 to me. It was a life suck but I had a lot of good times.
