PSA: European PSP/PS3 maintenance downtime for select titles tomorrow

A quick heads-up for our friends across the pond: Sony will be taking down a combination of 13 games, websites and services between 5 a.m. and 12 p.m. BST tomorrow, September 25, which is about twelve hours from now. Ish. Look, we're not Time Lords, okay? We can barely grasp the concept of timezones as it is.

Sony also says that maintenance may be extended for some titles/services/websites beyond the estimated window for "testing purposes," which we originally read as "testing porpoises," which seemed way more interesting. Click on through for the list of affected titles.

When are they updating Home?

If they'd not mentioned the PSP servers downtime, I wonder if a single person would actually have noticed?

You'll be shocked to see how many people use home. I went in thinking it would be a ghost town and I have to say it was pretty active. I also had a few good laughs going up to people that were having a conversation so I started to dance like an ass while wearing this huge zombie mask I some how got, well it was funny to me.

sadly there are a lot of people that use home, but no matter how many people there are around, i still feel like it's completely lacking a soul. home needs to just die already. it's not fun, useful, nor will ever garner the attention that games like The Sims do, which is obviously what they're going for. i think....not sure what other reason they would have to create something so terrible.

@Liquidfingers I don't use as often as I used too but, I had a lot of fun playing the Dead Island Zombie games and playing the other games on Home it's not gonna go away anytime soon so hoping for that is useless.

Maybe they started installing Apache/Linux patches for a change?

How often do they have to do this?

Oh I get that, I've done plenty of that in home but that's all there is. There's nothing to do and no reason to do it, I just can't see the point in it besides giving Sony money for random shit.

I was hoping Bad Company 2 was on the list. I'm tired of 1,000 rooms of 4 vs. 4.

@(Unverified) The only way to really fix that is to have fewer rooms. BC2's online community is shrinking, primarily because its been out for a while and a lot of people have moved on to different games. Just live with it or keep yourself busy with something else until BF3 comes out.

Actually that's where you're wrong. I know all about home, I was in the beta so I've used it plenty of times and yet on no occasion did it impress me or even feel worthwhile. There's no meaningful point to it.

I don't think it should die but it certainly needs a definitive purpose and goals

These PSN servers are down more than I change my underwear.
