On a similar note: If you can't say anything good, well, you post a video of a dog milking a goat.

+1 on Corey Taylor. -1 on Slipknot. More music for the masses, I suppose.

even though i do not know anyone who play these type of game(s) anymore this band would be a lot of fun to rock out with. haters gonna hate but they do have some classic, head rush, songs. good gym music also.

@Janitor

I've played Rock Band almost every day since launch and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon.

Pulse of the Maggots is also my favorite Slipknot song, so I'm down with this DLC.

@Jazzremix Their lyrics aren't exactly inspired, either.

@The Blank Mage Returns Yet people like me are going to have so much fun playing this pack, because I enjoy this band and I enjoy their music. Day 1 purchase for me, hopefully they add Spit It Out next

@The Blank Mage Returns They actually are pretty good lyrics. Especially Snuff. That is a great song.

If that's the guy that keeps visiting the Rock Band Weekly posts to talk about how all other music sucks and how we're in dire need of Slipknot for RB, he can now shut the HELL up.

Some good tunes slipped under Joystiq's radar recently for Rock Band Network.

Alien Ant Farm recently released 3 tracks: Courage, Movies, and Glow.
Courage and Movies are super challenging for drummers.

I've been wanting Left Behind in Rock Band for YEARS! I may have to dust off the ol' drums just for this song.

I never hate on other music. I just simply prefer Slipknot over some sugar coated pop. If you prefer pop that's fine by all means keep listening to it but I prefer Slipknot

@SlipknotFan
Well here's proof that the Joystiq comment system is broken, 'cause the email I received regarding your response to me contains a link that shows your comment linked directly under mine.

My complaint is that you seem to be generalizing all other Rock Band releases as "sugar-coated pop"... the majority of it is mainstream, yes, but very little of the Rock Band catalog is what one would consider "sugar-coated pop." And if mainstream music is what you're worried about, clearly you need to find a band to listen to other than Slipknot.

And don't get me wrong, I do kinda like them.

Why is there so much hate on this band? Their music isn't suppose to be for the common man, it's suppose to be for those who feel outcasted with no one that truly gives a damn about them. The whole point of Slipknot is to come together as one big family.
I'm a maggot and I approved this message

@SonyPS

Slipknot is just about as mainstream as metal acts come. They're not Botch or anything.

@E30 Kid I don't recall saying anything about mainstream or not. People on the c-section on this were showing a bunch of hate saying their music is pointless. So I explained what they were all about. That's it. Don't start a mainstream/indie debate with me over something I never touched in my comment. Thank you

I obviously don't have a problem with mainstream and the fact That I listen to Slipknot should be enough for you to realize that. All im saying is that I never hate or bash other artists like you claimed I did its just that I feel that a game like rock band should have bands like Slipknot rather then the likes of b.o.b, lady gaga or better yet spongebob.

Slipknot.... disturbing? I mean don't get me wrong, they're probably on the heavier side of rock band's offerings, but they're really not all that disturbing lyrically or musically.
