The Tommy Wi-Show is exactly what we expected and we don't know if that's good

This could just be us, but the rickety, MST3K-inspired spaceship that Tommy Wiseau claims is not his house in the above video looks exactly like the environment he would have grown up in. And the alien? Obviously his voice coach. This isn't a sequel to The Room -- this is Wiseau's new video-game webseries, The Tommy Wi-Show, and he kicks it off (literally) by playing Mortal Kombat.

"Playing" is a loose term here, but he does manage to beat Kung Lao with Sub-Zero, after getting stuck in the PlayStation home screen in the first minute, and before losing to Sonya Blade, mumbling racist, sexist and indistinguishable insults the entire time. This could also just be us, but we half-expected the alien to command Wiseau to do a barrel roll during his play time, and we half-expected Wiseau would try.

He seems like a moderately "challenged" version of Uwe Boll doing a Christopher Walken impression.

I can't imagine watching this whole episode that's why I quit half way through.

It's obvious this guy is talented enough to press one button. I suppose with such great abilities such as that you can film a movie.

Okay, I read just read the Wikipedia article on him, but seriously, who is this guy? There didn't seem to be any noteworthy information other than he apparently made some terrible movie called "The Room." Is that it?

That is the only thing the world needed. You should watch the movie (its on youtube) and you'll understand.

honestly, you shouldn't watch the movie, but watch the few sequenzes to get a clue of what altitude of failure we are talking about.

btw... this was horrible. everything with TW is like a car crash. you can't stop watching. wait... car crashes are at least thrilling. but both make you feel bad.

Definitely watch the Room. Oh, and keep in mind, he intended it to be a serious movie, though he now claims it is a comedy.

This is fairly amusing at parts, but nowhere near the scope of The Room. This is clearly trying too hard. The lines that seem adlibbed are much funnier. Like "Alien, do you have a vampire menu?"

I was just preparing an egg breakfast. This is not my hooooouse!

If you have time, I'd strongly recommend listening to last week's episode of Podtoid (Destructoid's podcast), where they interviewed Tommy Wiseau. His opinion of what his show offers are...uh, incredible.
