Oh god yes please keep the English VA from the game I don't know why but it seems weird for anyone not Troy Baker to play Kanji he just got the characther down pat.

@Special Agent Bob I agree. I've played both the Japanese and English versions of P4 and the English VA was solid. The localization of the English parts were just so funny and awesome.

I'm glad Atlus is keeping up with its fan base and releasing the new fighting game, a P4 remake on the new PS Vita, and now this anime! I do think Square-Enix can learn a ton from Atlus.

Keep up the good work Atlus!

A million times this. There wasn't a single voice in P4 that bothered me, and I'm usually sorta anal about voice work. I can't see why they wouldn't think to do this, as it makes logical sense. But, then again, anime dubbing doesn't always make any sort of sense. (Looks at One Piece first dub trainwreck)

@Jennacide

Actually, the original One Piece dub makes perfect sense... it's 4Kids.

This. This infinity.

Have you heard Rise's voice in Japanese? It sounds like a chalkboard being scratch by a sick badger while a 2 year old is playing the violin. I do not want to have to listen to that for 25 episodes.

And the dub's voice acting in the game's main cast is nothing short of perfection. I'm sure getting every voice actor would be impossible, so if they need to change someone like Kou's voice actor, fine. But my god, the dub will be dead to me if they decide to change any of the voice actors for the main party, the villians, or the MC's family.

@Alexisonfire I,m as optimistic as the Next guy to see Johnny Yong Bosch, Yuri Lowenthal and Troy Baker reprise Their roles but Seeing as Sentai Filmworks is Based out of Texas I think The chances of That are kinda slim

@Special Agent Bob If this isn't the case I don't know if I'll be able to enjoy it. The voice cast from P4 is what MADE those characters. Could you imagine Teddie not sounding the way he does!? I can't and I won't!

Bad news guys: Sentai is a Texas-based company, and the Persona 4 dub was recorded with California-based voice actors. While outsourcing a dub to another studio is not unheard of, it is highly uncommon. Better start petitioning Sentai now.

I really hope this gets dubbed into English at some point.

I'll watch the subtitled version, of course. I just would rather limit my exposure to Rise's Japanese voice.

I would love to see this but Sentai Filmworks' dvd's are extremely expensive. It's like paying for anime in the early nineties all over again.

Anyone ever seen the Persona: Trinity Soul anime?

It's in the Persona universe, only tangentially related to the games (like one character from P3 shows up and he's all grown up), but has some REALLY pretty bgm...

Will the protagonist's name be localized to Charlie Tunoku?
