I saw them at Woodstock 99 where Fred Durst spent 20 minutes of their 40 minute set yelling out city names trying to hype the crowd.

@jsx92 That's actually a song of theirs. On each of their albums they do a little 'Thank you' track which names everyone that worked on the album as well all the cities they toured that helped back them. The song is 'Show Me What You Got' off Significant Other, 'Indigo Flow' from 3 Dolla Bill Y'all is a pretty good one too

The fact that Break Stuff is not one of the tracks is a major failure on harmonix's part.

This used to be the band I liked a lot in middle school. Break Stuff, Behind Blue Eyes (cover), Nookie, My Way and Rollin were boss back in the day. Now I know it is bad music but I still have some nostalgia for them. Also there are some pretty good AMVs around with Limp Bizkit music.

Say what you will about Limp Bizkit, but the bass part in Rearranged has got to be fun as hell.

@Lukeyo

I'm not a big Limp Bizkit fan, but Rearranged is still a great song. I'd also play Break Stuff, but the reason for its exclusion is pretty obvious.

Either way, too much music hate around here like usual.

In high school, one day I kept telling a friend that Limp Bizkit sucked, over and over and over again, and he hit me in the arm. Looking back, that was incredibly embarrassing for him.

This is not helping Rockband stay relevant. It seems like it's been months since something I cared about was released. How much longer will these updates last? End of the year?

@Hoops So Nirvana, Cheap Trick, Janis Joplin, Chili Peppers, Incubus, Def Leppard, James Brown, Yes, Heart, and Soundgarden dont do anything for you? What do you like for them add? Even though only 2 of those are artists I really wanted, I still got most of them because they are fantatstic. Harmonix does such a great job of mixing up their DLC, that if it's been months since you cared about anything, you must only like one genre of music and it must be very niche!

@kingjollygreen

Personally not a single one of those artists do it for me. Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in there. I'm not a big fan of classic rock. I dislike Grunge, so Nirvana is out. Soundgarden is some of the most boring music I've ever listened to (I don't mean to offend those that do like them, it's just not my cup of tea).

I just want to say also that I do appreciate well written instrumentals and lyrics, and there are songs I listen to out of my comfort zone if I feel they are really well done. But, I can't help that my brain prefers a lot of modern rock with harder hitting guitar sounds over anything else. I'm also a big metal fan, but I prefer bands that aren't constantly screaming and throw some "normal" vocals in with the screaming, and Harmonix has maybe released, I don't know...3 songs that are like that.

I own 189 pieces of DLC that I have purchased since Rock Band 1 came out, and have thoroughly browsed the entire DLC list multiple times to make sure I didn't miss anything, but for the past 6 months I have maybe purchased 5 tracks. For me, Harmonix just isn't releasing the type of music I like to jam to. What can ya do, right? There are way too many bands out there, and way too many different tastes in music for people. There is no way Harmonix can please us all! To each his own and all that...

I remember hearing 3 Dollar Bill Y'all for the first time my sophomore year in high school ('97) and thought it was awesome. To this day I still feel this way. Significant Other was good, but not as good as their first album. Everything afterwards was crap.

What I'm trying to say is why isn't there anything from their first album? Where's Counterfeit? Stuck? Sour? I'd even take Faith (ugh~).

@def PD

I agree with your post. The first record put the spotlight on a real promising band. The second album was still decent even though I feel it was a sell out. Then it just went downhill really fast.

I'd say Limp Bizkit pulled a fast one on 30 million people in the 90s. They're like the fat girl you bang when you're really drunk. You wake up next to her the next morning, covered in puke, and think to yourself, my God, I was into that!??!
