@MEMgrizzlies7 It's not my favorite, but it's definitely up there. I'd throw the Henry Hatsworth soundtrack as my favorite.

Haha you don't need to know a lot about Wow to understand the Dueling Analogs one, got my vote.

Dinosaur Comics reigns supreme by default whenever it's featured. I didn't even read the others.

I think that comic was funny with just the first slide.

Wow. Brawl in the Family finally made a comic critical of Nintendo. I'm befuddled and amazed.

And it totally got my vote, because why bother bringing back the damn Tanooki suit if you can't fly? Nobody cared about Mario wearing a furry costume! Flying was the whole point!

Read joystiqs latest article on it.
The Pwing is featured in the game.

Same reaction as you. Amazed and confused at the same time. A BitF comic actually CRITICAL of Ninty? And a pretty good criticism too. I was sitting here thinking "why even have the Tanooki suit if you can't even fly?" while everyone else was creaming their pants over just seeing the raccoon tail.

I can't stand to attempt to read Dinosaur Comics, and Nerf Now forgot how grammar works, apparently ("I got stuck on traffic" and "...to log as soon as possible!").

BITF wins this week.

For me I'm done even trying to read BTIF. at least the others try staying relevant. Might benefit from looking past Nintendo occasionally as Mario comics are played out.

@Cap Morgan

Because talking about a game that isn't released for another month and a 1/2 isn't relevant?

Can't get much more relevant than a game that's mentioned many places...

It gets even more mindblowing when you realize it's been going on for eight years and has over 2000 strips.

oh wow dueling analogs made a dumb joke with misogynist undertones. look at how i am surprised by this thing that most certainly has not happened over and over in the past.

The misogynist undertones are only there because you want them to be. Sane people just see a stupid joke.

Reverse the roles in the comic and you'd be saying the same thing because "look at that man threatening her with a fork!"

@Acosta02 you don't actually know what misogyny is, do you

because if you did you really wouldn't have twisted that logic until it broke

@Mach2 the misogyny present in the comic easily demonstrable. it isn't just there "because [i] want [it] to be there." literally every comic with a female character in dueling analogs uses her as a sexual object or as the masculine-defined ideal of "feminine" and this one is no exception. no actual woman would meet some guy for the first time and think "wow, he has no problem with commitment." maybe if it were a one-time thing, i could accept that the author weren't a misogynist. but it's happened over and over again, and the only realistic conclusion that can be drawn from that is steve napierski is a misogynist.

I'm sure the dinosaur one is funny, but ahhh it's so hard to read. They don't really get the concept of a comic: If 3/4 of your panel is words...you're doing it wrong! Hell, I'd say if even 1/4 of your panel is words, you're doing it wrong. But I was an artist once, so these things probably bother me more than everyone else.

My vote goes to Penny Arcade. I know nothing about RAGE but the concept fits more than just that game. Also, PPPPPP FTWWWWWW

It's the same 6 panels every week, the only thing that does change every day is the text. And it's been running for 8 years now. I think he's got a good idea of the concept of a comic.

That tune always annoyed the hell out of me because it's so close to Ryu's theme that is sounds like a rip-off. When it doesn't go to the notes in Ryu's music is sets my teeth on edge. A real cochlear tease.

Penny Arcade's been on a good run with these strips that are more universal observations than game-specific jokes for the past couple weeks, but this time it wins out for me
