Kinect Sports Season Two demo, anyone?
11
Microsoft has released a demo of Kinect Sports Season Two on Xbox Live, including two of the game's six sports: golf and tennis. Incidentally, if your living room is big enough to play virtual doubles in front of the Kinect, you could probably just play actual tennis.

If the Kinect had the capability to be wounded by lighthearted jokes at its expense, it would be able to defend itself.

Unless the Nyko Zoom has the magical ability to make people much smaller, I think you're missing the point. They're talking about the space you'll need to have four people playing air tennis at the same time, which won't change with an accessory.

As those were my favorite games in Wii Sports (bowling was too easy to cheat) this should be worth at least a demo download. Maybe it'll even inspire me to spend more than 20 minutes playing the first game...

Maybe I'm part of the few hardcore gamers that is actually looking forward to this. I love playing my shooters, RPGs, and sports games but Kinect sports, dance central and kinect adventures (least favorite) has given me hours of enjoyment with friends and family. If u have the room I really would recommend the kinect. People should stop hating on things without trying it first hand (that includes time to adjust or get a hang of things) before writing them off. Kinect sports 2, dance central 2 and rise of nightmares all look like great games. I even welcome the added functionality it brings to games like halo, ghost recon, mass effect, etc and the dashboard. Technology has to start somewhere and this just opens the door for better things in the future.

@trunas well said. i'll try any and every game I can get my hands on before I decide whether it's worth my time or not. Dance Central, Kinect Sports, Child of Eden, and Gunstringer among a few others are excellent games. Looking forward to their sequels. Our newest favorite kinect thing? Fruit Ninja Battles! tons of fun with family and friends.
