So, Link is part dolphin? Seriously, that spiral jump he did out of the water was pretty crazy.
Also: "Is there any thing to do against its impervious metallic body?"

Link could be an Olympic diver! There was hardly any splash at all when he hit the water.

The animation looks silky and smooth, just like how the conditioner leaves my hair feeling.
I noticed the little 'air wheel' when submerged seems similar to Mario. It looks like you can also swim through those bubbles to refill it, also similar to Mario.

I kind of thought the animations looked a little stiff and upright. That could be because the character mimics your real world moves in game but I didn't notice a lot of fluidity in the transitions between animations. It's more like pose to pose than something you'd see in a game that used a lot of mocap.

This game uses the same engine as Twilight Princess, which explains all the animations for better or worse.
I actually liked the Twilight Princess engine, and am glad to see it put to use again one last time utilizing Wii hardware this go around. Also, it appears they have it running 60 fps now, unlike in TP.

Ya know, I was really down on this game, but seriously, it looks pretty good. Not just graphically, but it just looks pretty good.
C'mon guys, NIntendo. Yeahhh. Video games they do right.

I've always loved the graphics for Zelda (even cel-shaded Wind Waker). But I am anxiously waiting for that ONE Zelda game where the graphics are truly realistic, HD, and "next-gen"...
Think Metal Gear Solid graphics applied to the world of Zelda!

I dunno, I kinda like the cartoon aspect of Nintendo graphics. But hey, to each his own, right?

@Arrowsmith I'm kinda with you. I say kinda cause I think I'd like to see a Zelda game take on a more serious tone to test it. But I have a feeling I may not like it as much as I had once thought. The art styles fit the tone pretty well.

What? No Dolphin? Man, what's with spam bots these days.
Oh and this game is awesome! I feel as if it's a fusion of TP and Wind Waker.

I love Wind Waker's graphics, all the tiny details like the wind make them very immersive. I think the only thing Zelda needs is an ability to play in high resolution. If you've seen Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on Dolphin Emulator on a computer display, it's just gorgeous.
The frustrating thing is all the screen grabs on the game's packaging are in high resolution, but Wii and our TV is stuck with 480p.
Crisp shiny models and colors without pixelated edges and faded hues will hopefully be in their way with the new Nintendo system, and how cool would it be if they let you play the old games in HD too. The textures are already in HD, they just need to be displayed in HD.
