I'd rather see single-player DLC like new levels. I'm not buying this for the multiplayer. Halo CE Anniversary is probably the only multiplayer I will play at all this fall. I'm much more of a single player gamer.

Agreed. I don't play UC Multiplayer and have no interest in this. I would gladly give them $25 or $45 for single-player DLC.

I'd rather they develop another full single-player game than work on single-player dlc. At least the multiplayer DLC is handled more by the multiplayer team than anything else, so the main story team can work on Uncharted 4 while Uncharted 3's legs (read: multiplayer) can be maintained by the multiplayer team for a while. This way, the story team can put their all into the next game without having to split duty trying to add story DLC to UC3.

I mean, these games are only on two year cycles right now.

How about you get this for buying new? Or $10 off this for buying new, instead of project $10?

Then we'd be talking.

Well that would be too nice of them to do.

I completely agree.
If i'm hearing this before release then I guess THERE'S TIME TO PUT IT IN THE GAME!

I used to think DLC was a means for developers to add extra content for ideas they didn't have time to finish. So maybe we paid a buck or 2 (or $15) here or there, but it was long enough after release where the addition was welcome.

Soon we'll be paying to remove ads....(ok not really but that's what it feels like.)

In keeping with the caps lock motif of this conversation, it's possible that the developers HAVE THEIR NEXT FEW MONTHS OF DEVELOPMENT PLANNED OUT AT THIS POINT.

@SmashZilla I'd actually pay to remove ads, especially during private moments with my computer.

Some of the paid DLC getting released is not worth the pennies stuck between the couch cushions.

@SmashZilla - "If i'm hearing this before release then I guess THERE'S TIME TO PUT IT IN THE GAME!"

No. Just no. For the love of god, no. NO.

Just because they know they're going to do DLC before release does NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM AUTOMATICALLY MEAN THAT IT'S DONE AND COULD HAVE BEEN ON THE DISC!

Hell, it's possible that all they know is "we're going to do four map packs & three skins packs" with no thought being given yet to what will be in any of those packs.

Not to mention that the game has already been gold for a week & has probably been done in terms of adding new content for a couple of months already.

Just because a studio knows that they're going to be doing DLC or even knows what that DLC is going to be before the game is releases does NOT means that it's content that is already done, nor does it mean that work has even started on the content.

Umm people this is $5 cheaper than the Gears 3/Forza 4 season passes (which are $30) and $25 cheaper than CoD Elite so it's not that bad if you're going to play U3 MP.

@MSUHitman

I don't understand. Are you implying that everyone who thinks $25 is too much for multiplayer map packs, also thinks that $30 is a great price for Forza 4 car packs?

Isn't it possible that we think both packs are overpriced, especially for sight-unseen content?

Kind of shocks me people complain about this stuff. If you like the multiplayer and know you are going to play it over the next year why not save $20 and get this ahead of time? Explain to me the reasoning why this is bad outside the fact you either think 1.)it should be free and you shouldn't have to pay , 2.)You don't like the fact there is already announced DLC for the next year (which is ridiculous), or 3.) You don't like saving money.

To a lot of people it probably doesn't make much sense because you may or may not invest as much time into the MP as other people do.

There definitely is a dedicated MP crowd for Uncharted and for them, $25 for $45 of MP content is a good deal. Unfortunately this doesn't include any SP DLC.

@CoconutSkittle its called a season pas...this means that instead of paying for each piece of DLC over the course of a year you can pre-pay and save $20. How is this concept so hard for people to understand. Obviously you guys are smart enough to connect to the internet and stumble on a webpage.

I agree with Samon, why is everyone up in arms about this? Obviously they have plans for DLC, its part of a business strategy and hell as a Uncharted fan I'm happy it will be supported. The pack is an awesome deal if you really liked the multiplayer and you save money. If you are so against the idea, why don't you just wait till they announce the map packs and buy it individually? The old system isn't gone with individual prices for DLC and yet here there is complaining when you can get it in an OPTIONAL package discount :P

You buy the game and then you have to keep on paying for it to get the publisher to add back in the content they purposefully witheld.
