I was a bit skeptic at first about this. But its actually shaping up to be a pretty nice game. Im not a huge FPS fan but I might pick this up, good for when I have friends over and want a nice fast game to keep us entertained.

Please, can somebody confirm that this supports 2-player splitscreen MP and 2-player splitscreen local Survival mode?

Thanks, I'll just assume it does for now instead of running out and pre-ordering a 2nd copy.
If black ops brought anything new and good to the table, it was the split-screen support for chilling out at friend's place.

@Deividas So this year they came out with more perks for your perks? BF3 is looking like a huge contended right about now.

More perks to worry about. I loved the customization but once I can't even count them on two hands... and then gun perks too? Jeeeeeeesuuuuus.
Still excited.

2 Different Games. BF3 is great. It's a whole out war over there with all the vehicles, squad-spawn gameplay, etc. I like COD because of it's arcade-style feel. I do love perks. I complain about way too many to keep track of / counter appropriately when online. But I still have not played it. So I will see how that goes.

@GamingColt i hear what you're saying but cod bo got really old fast because it lacked the options MW2 had (emblems guns KS perks so on) BO was also a one gun game like WAW so MW3 having lots of perks and other things to unlock will keep me playing. when i hit 15 prestige in BO i stopped play it got boring.

What? So Warlord isn't a perk anymore?

@philmcfail
Yup. Waste of a perk slot all this time, if you ask me. Glad that mw3 is just folding it into the weapon upgrade system instead, that makes more sense.

Super observant - most franchises stick with what works, ditch what sucks and add fresh new content. That's what makes a franchise - if they were going to ditch everything and start completely over - then it might not appeal to their fan base.

Dark Souls and Demon's Souls have the same similar art design, I don't see anybody currently crying about that. Same with alot of other titles.
It's not about how it looks, it's about how it plays that'll matter in the end. And if you don't like it, then don't buy it.

But do they come out with a game every single year? Im not saying its not a great game. The numbers prove that. I just dont think its necessary to crank them out every year.

I dunno, while I've been having a lot of fun playing bf3 these last few days, it's a different type of game all together. Not that it's less exciting, just... a different exciting.

Cool.. I no longer have to sacrifice a perk to use two attachments.
Rapid Fire and Silencer on the PP90M1 is gonna be fun.. especially with Sleight of Hand and Quick Draw and the perk that helps you fire from the hip more accurately

Each gun shoots and sounds the same. Sounds like shooting paintballs. No matter where you are or how far your enemy is, as long as you shoot in that direction, you'll get the kill. That's before you will unlock the perks for guns. Now you can have two scopes, less kick (which there is none), less sway, hold breath for even more accuracy all in one gun. What's going to be next? Voice activating gun command so now you won't even have to look where you're shooting?

@pierogi210 i agree with you pierogi i dont know what some people are talking about whith the game being balanced, have you played modern warfare or MW2 before? that game was woefully unbalanced the .50 cal snipers in the game did less damage then some pistols lol, adding these proficiency for weapons is gonna make people who dual weild p90s even more of an annoyance. i guess this is what happens when everybody who worked on the previous cod's/MW's left and a rag tag group of developers makes the game. oh well there will always be black ops 2 in may lolz.

Seems like from your comment that you have already played the game. Oh you haven't? Why don't you wait till the game is released and the reviews come out before you pass judgement.

Can't wait for this game. I'm hoping the guns are more balanced than Black Ops. I miss being able to use the bigger guns that fire slower, but cause more damage.

I have an idea, how else can we change an already stale multiplayer? Let's give the guns perks! I hope they lose the custody battle and just hand this series back to Jason West and Nick Zampella.

That will never happen. Expect something better though. The fact that those two left means their new studio (Respawn?) will provide a game that -feels- like CoD, but with a whole new engine.. maybe even physics!
