Weekly Webcomic Wrapup is growing a 'stach for charity

In case you missed it earlier today, the Joystiq Qrew is growing mustaches for charity, to raise money for men's health research and prostate cancer awareness. Even Weekend Editor Jess Conditt is tapping into her Italian heritage in an effort to grow an impressive lady-stache, all for the good of men everywhere.

As you can tell from Richard Mitchell's 'stache update video above, the competition around the office is getting pretty fierce. There's no way that our interpersonal relationships will last through the entire month of November, so help ensure the collapse of our social structure by donating your bills to our faces. We may even save some lives in the process.

What the hell is wrong with the 'stiq this week?

Poor Ristar. At least he didn't live to see Sega ruin him like they did Sonic. He died a quiet death, a peaceful death, a death Sonic wishes was his every moment of his life.

@Hyperion45 The good thing about games that aren't beaten to death as that they never die. Ristar is still as he was all those years ago!

Meanwhile, Sonic is dead, buried, and zombified.

It's been a while since we made it onto the list here (which might be an indicator for the quality of what you'll find at this link...), but if anyone has a hunger for a few more video game comics you could check out our comic from Friday.

Not going to lie: This weeks comics suck. This is by far the worst week I've seen since joining during the summer last year.

Brawl in the Family's comic reminds me of Team Fortress 2's haunted gift event this Halloween

Brentalfloss bothered me. Super Mario 64 is a singleplayer game (unless Luigi co-op mode actually exists, and it doesn't) and Super Mario Galaxy is not played like that. Small yet super-obvious mistakes like that really bother me quite a bit.

Penny Arcade gets my vote this week.

"Circle of Life" was, well...cute, but not funny. I thought Retroid was hilarious.

It wasn't supposed to be funny. It was supposed to be adorable, and it accomplished that. I thought BitF was better, though.

The one week I find Penny Arcade actually funny and many comments are saying that there's nothing funny. I don't get it.

And why is "Blow the Cartridge" on this list? Based on that one strip I would never want to see that comic on the list again.

I am a big reader of Joystiq on my Andriod but man these often seem like a lot of the same. I have submitted my own comic three or four times now and with it being the anniversary of my first page going live I too will put in a shameless plug.
