I was always under the impression that Mario just BECAME the animal. Surely he didn't skin and stretch out a frog for the frog suit, or skin 1000 bees for the bee suit.

@Once known as Shadsy Some people opened my eyes to PETA not long ago. I never cared one way or another, but it's pretty f'd up. Go do some research is all I will say. PETA does not care about animals. PETA cares about making money based off of people's love for animals. They are not a charity, they are a company, and a really shady one at that.

In SMB3 he transformed into it after touching a flying Tanooki suit. In SMB3DS it's a leaf. SO: Yes :D

Why do you give PETA so much publicity, Joystiq???

We get it, they're morons. But their marketing department knows if they use an iconic character from video games they'll get free advertising on Joystiq and the rest.

Stop feeding the damn trolls!

I got a score of 33 seconds.... what? I was bored... besides, it was kinda neat getting back to basics. Even if it was at the home of a bunch of psychopathic ecoterrorists that would rather animals have more rights than humans, much less the hidden agenda that their animal love is just a way to jerk people's knees and get money out of them. I'm personally sick of this "Save the Animals" and "Save the Children" agendas.

Everyone who uses those cheers are just doing it to get free money, or get people to vote a certain way or push them towards what they want them to do. It's sickening.

If they're going to bitch about anything, shouldn't they be bitching about the turtles? And seriously, relax PETA, Mario is essentially a vegetarian with all the mushrooms and flowers he eats.

I don't think you can accuse PETA of overreacting, Mr "People who pollute rivers are literally worse than Hitler".

Have you ever thought of becoming captain Propane instead? Propane is a completely pollution-free fuel, when produced and utilised in the correct manner. It just has to be treated with respect.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and correct you. If they wanna bitch about something, shouldn't they be bitching about something that is at least slightly related to real life?

Seriously, PETA has managed to be even dumber than those backyard companies trying to sue the big ones every now and then.

Anyways, PETA is indeed a shady organization that shouldn't even be considered an animal rights group. They are not in the same league as Humane Society, ASPCA, etc.

Surely PETA is breaking copyright law by using Mario in this game and using intellectual property throughout and in the title, cease and desist this shit and sue PETA, that will shut them up.

"In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon."

This isn't satire, it's defamation of (virtual) Character. Satire is funny. Satire is Stephen Colbert.

Yeah, PETA games I've seen are really badly made, thus resulting in a higher difficulty. Getting through Tofu Boy was pretty damn hard, although this one took a couple of tries.
