So, Nickelback returns with more Rock Band DLC next week -- whether you and Harmonix like it or not. There are also pro guitar and bass upgrades for three Red Hot Chili tracks.

Chili Peppers are about 10000x better than Nickelback. And I only like one Chili song.

Fun fact: Rock Band Network was produced under the title Rock Band: Nickelback. They did this so that no one would ever bother looking at it. This speaks volumes.

@My Prerogative I hate Nickelback as much as the next guy, but seriously, if someone threw a rock at me, I'd leave too. I don't think "rock dodging" is written into their contract under "Obligations of the Band."

I have over 400 RB songs, only 5 of which were bought in 2011. The only reason I haven't completely thrown up my hands and said "that's it, I'm done!" is because if there was some way I could actually manage to sell the instruments, the songs I already have become worthless. I still love Harmonix, I just wish they hadn't fired the only people with decent taste in music.

On Facebook the Rockband guys announced that they were having a contest you could enter to win free Nickleback songs (and other stuff). People were responding asking if there was a way they could make sure they didn't accidentally win, even though they never entered the contest.

As for me, I have decided to reserve judgement on various musicians, like Nickleback, until I've actually listened to the music itself. The thing is, I just don't listen to crappy music.
