Jesus, could the Black Friday deals this year possibly be worse?

I've heard this a lot and just don't get it. Lots of new releases for $28 and some good console deals. I don't know what people are expecting... $15 new releases?

@Crucial Kenny
I usually hold out for the $5-15 games seemingly chosen at random, but it doesn't seem like anyone's got those this year. Some of the deals on new games are sweet - and I would totally jump on Once Upon a Monster for $25 if I had a Kinect - but most of those new games aren't omg-must-haves for me. Though I'm also bullying myself into restraint by necessity... I have bills to pay now and a gargantuan catalog of games that I've barely scratched the surface of.

I will say, though, that my Black Friday object of desire this year is an HDTV. I've had a hard time truly enjoying my current-gen catalog on a 90's-era 20-something-inch.

*Gasps* get a tv! A smaller one should be inexpensive if money is an issue. I get cheap games all the time from amazon warehouse deals. It's amazing how many games I've bought, played, and traded back in for a $5 difference.

This isn't exactly a good sale. Amazon has better deals all the time, and those are barely newsworthy.

If we wanted every single little bit of crappy pseudo-deal news, we'd sign up for cheapassgamer's rss feed.

Wait, what? How is their Black Friday deal worse than their usual buy one get one 50% off sales? Looks like they are taking advantage of ignorant Black Friday shoppers.

It's Buy one Get one 40% off online right now. I just ordered some games from there.

The sale lies, I just checked Gears 3 and it counts but the Epic Edition does not. Since when is a special edition not count as a game?

It never does, so I'm sure it doesn't now.

Toys R Us doesn't sell PC games do they? Because I wanted to buy 2 copies of Skyrim during Amazon's own B1G1 50% Off but they simply refused to sell me 2 copies, claiming a limit of 1 per customer.

Took advantage of this TRU deal already... It has been up for the past couple of days. Got Arkham City, AC Revelattions & Brotherhood, and Dead Island. (Had to do 2 orders, however, to get the 40% twice...)

Tip for anyone who wants to do this with Zelda:

Go in tomorrow, buy two games, the first you want to keep, the second doesn't matter but is cheaper. Then, the next day, exchange the game you don't want for Zelda. Easy!
