After a brief delay, it seems that the Counter-Srike: Global Offensive beta will launch on PC at the end of November. The game's Twitter feed revealed a November 30 launch date for the game's pre-launch trial run late last week, as spotted by VideoGamer.com. The feed also noted that "de_Dust and "de_Dust2" will kick off the beta, which only allows "current key holders" entry at launch.
Valve previously stated that CS: GO's beta period would initially roll out with around 10,000 players, and will grow "in steps" as the company tests stability and server structure. The full game is expected to launch sometime in "early 2012," but don't expect a hard date anytime soon -- between the developer being Valve (see: "Valve Time") and the approach the company has taken to launch (the beta will eventually just turn into the final product), we don't expect a solid release date until the game is already upon us.

I wonder how they are doing this...owners of all things Valve and those who have beta tested all their other stuff so far would be nice.

It's basically a revamp of the entire game to keep up with the ever-evolving "modern shooter".
New ui, couple new weapons and maps, revamped graphics and aesthetics for pretty much everything, updated old maps, other stuff.
The game will now pit you against others of your own level.
Also a new casual mode which pits you against friends and whoever, and has increased spending money.

Couldn't be more excited for this. Counter-Strike 1.6 was something of a mix between a religion and a favorite sport for me growing up. It's about time for a proper sequel.

I'm sure Churchill appreciates the gesture. Or would, if he wasn't kind of dead-ish at the moment.

I hope it works out for Valve. I used to love CS:Source but I feel as if the gaming world has passed the CS formula, exciting as it used to be.
If this is simply a graphics refresh and new maps, I don't know if thats enough to get me playing Counter Strike again. Today, people expect perks and hats, badges and the like.
We will see.

I don't think that's entirely true. Most CS players skipped source because the entire competitive aspect of the game was lost when Valve decided to go for mass appeal. The game ended up appealing to people that never played CS and also managed to alienate the entire CS 1.5 and 1.6 community, especially the competitive scene. I am cautiously optimistic about this beta as well. Hopefully it doesn't suffer from the same problems that CS:S has.

Considering there are 8000 more CS(Original + Source) players at the moment then MW2/BO/MW3 combined, I'd say people still enjoy their CS.

College was all about CS. I played every beta that was public. However, source never grew on me even though I played it for a long time. Not because it isn't a good game but because games like BF and MW offer more variety (yes, even MW).
I will be surprised if this is successful but I wish them all the best. Hopefully it IS a good product and give me a reason to go back to CS.

I think CS might be the best game of all time, but I feel like it's outdated now.
Not being able to aim down the sights, not having a consistent weapon weapon and item unlocking tree, not having a persistent ranking system etc. etc. makes it outdated.

So, you basically think CS would be better if it were more like Call of Duty. Counter-Strike has always been about competitive, balanced gameplay, not realism or carrot-on-a-stick progression.
If you think aiming down the sights would make this game better, CS is not for you.

I do think that aiming down the sights would make this game better and I therefore agree that CS is not for me (anymore - as mentioned, I used to love it and think it may be the greatest game ever)
The progression that I would like to see doesn't have to be "carrot-on-a-stick" COD type progression, but just something.

This file contains Rapidshare and Mediafire links for Counter Strike Global Offensive as well as crack file, keygen and some missing files.
Enjoy!
After you copy crack in game folder and apply key from keygen, you can play your BETA for free!
