Keep in mind that Valve isn't above trolling its own fans -- Gabe Newell could have a 50-square-foot room at Valve studios stuffed full of Half-Life 3 t-shirts, foam hands and head crabs to keep the excitement alive, and a lot of empty hard drive space for the actual game. Nonetheless, @Ekanaut, the marketing man for Monday Night Combat studio Uber Entertainment, spotted this Half-Life 3 shirt "worn by a Valve employee" at Seattle's Eastside Industry Night.
Eka said the Valve employee "knew as much about Half-Life 3 as we do, which is nothing."
We can't help it -- the print on that shirt does look nice and fresh, doesn't it? As if it were just removed from a box of new Half-Life 3 merch ordered specifically for the game announcement that's happening any minute now? Doesn't it?

Well in FEAR 2, one of the in-game characters had a T-Shirt for SHOGO 2, its been almost three years since that game came out and nothing.
So I don't want to get too excited over nothing. : /

SNAKE FIIIIIIST!
Perhaps Shogo 2 is Lith's next project after Gotham City Impostors? We can only hope.
Some more Cate Archer wouldn't be bad either.

I think the most obvious part about it is that it says Half Life 3 and not Half Life 2: Episode 3. Unless SUDDENLY they're working on a whole project above the project they're supposed to be releasing next, to just make people confused at the fact that Half Life 3 comes before Half Life 2: Episode 3 in the timeline.

I think from previous comments you play TF2.
You remember the Soldier update awhile back? The one with the hidden updates? The one where the Pyro page was hidden with one item, and a message saying "Don't worry Pyros, we only left out the Engineer"
And everyone thought it was them trolling, and an update would come out soon.
It wasn't until months later and a PROMOTIONAL update, did the Engineer get anything.
No, their trolling isn't always a good humor, "we'll make good on it" type of joke on their playerbase.

Yeah, That "3" looks very basic. Like they didnt use their own font and just typed 3.
Thats whats throwing it off a bit.

Why do I get the feeling this guy just went to one of those make your own t-shirt places in the mall to get this done? Probably because that's what happened.

My friend who did a tour of the Valve offices recently said they had giant vault door there and only employees with a special pass are allowed to enter it. Apparently they're working on some top secret project in there. Could be HL3, just sayin'

I had a friend who's father worked in the airforce in the 60's....
Whenever you asked him about aliens or area 51 he would clam up and stop talking....
Could HL3 be under development by creatures from another world in Area 51? Just sayin....

@BasedGodLilB I used to know a guy who worked for a studio that was developing a Nintendo product here. He couldn't talk about the project, but did say that part of the requirement for landing the contract was that they have a sequestered high security room with a single vault-like access door that all work would be done and locked down within. It was considered very, very important and is not unusual in the industry, apparently.
