In 1675 the first fire engine company in what will become the United States goes into service.

Food for thought.

WHY? Informative yes, but I never see these bug/insect videos in the daytime ALWAYS at night...12 inch spiders, massive snakes and the lot.

*runs to light switch* =(

It's also worth noting that Cordyceps helps to keep insect species from becoming overabundant.

Maybe the game deals with human overpopulation?

@ryukinkeeper14

That would be an interesting topic. It's one I find myself thinking about quite often for some reason.

I wonder why such a thing didn't happen in Studio Ghibli's movie, "Nausicca: Valley of the Wind". I mean cmon! The toxic jungle was populated by nothing BUT fungi and insect. Of the 400 species of Cordyceps, there wasn't ONE that took advantage of those insects? But I digress. It's just a cartoon. ...a good one at that.

You can buy Cordyceps supplements at stores like Whole Foods. I took a capsule twice a day for about a month. It claims to increase everything from sexual stamina to heart health but I didn't notice any obvious effects.

No kids, you can't smoke it. No; I didn't try.

I wish Joystiq had a community forum...

Anyone have Mario Kart 7 and want to exchange friend codes?

Mine is: 0989-1777-7803

The online in Mario Kart 7 is robust, lag free and overall better than any Nintendo game previous. Currently hooked.
