Is this any good?

@covertpetersen
No.

It's like Battlefield 2 with less players, less maps, and unless you pay extra, you're locked to one class for the entire game.

You'd be better off getting Battlefield 2 or Bad Company for $20 on Steam, unless you have Battlefield 3 and you want a dogtag that implies to everyone that you actively play a bad free to play game.

@TRONdll
Also, forgot to mention this, but I'm pretty sure this also doesn't have commanders or squads, so no easily coordinated teamwork, either.

@covertpetersen It's not bad. If you have friends that aren't willing to make the jump to buy bf3 or bc2, you can play this with them. I've convinced some friends to buy bf3 after playing this with them.

Hopefully the next Battlefield or MoH will have this level of customization.

This actually looks really fun, giving me mad nostalgia for BF2.

This game has now sunk to the depths of ripping its customers off.
After the last update all weapons and attachments that were bought with real money through the battlefund system have been reset.
You will no longer own these weapons neither will you have any accessories bought and paid for, in affect players have paid a lot of money for chosen weapons and attachments only to have them stripped away and no offer of any refund apart from replacing item with a cut down version of what you had originaly.
You will have to re-purchase them again.
Not only that, but any items bought with real money through the battlefund system can be changed, or removed as they see fit under the TOS as you DO NOT own anything that you buy.
Please see links for more information.
