Been there, done that last week. Feels so good to game after though. Does lend itself to impulse buying though when you know you already have a backlog that's pretty big.

What the hell do you mean "potentially liveblogging"?

A Brothers McElroy liveblog of the Spike VGAs has been a holiday tradition as far as I can remember. Skipping the liveblog would be like spitting on Baby Jesus while farting on Santa Claus.

Step it up, McElroys! You watch this shit so I don't have to.

AC: Revelations mulitplayer... finished the single player mode and what a big UGH!! i dont understand how some outlets said that it wrap's up Ezio story. It really doesnt. Its a very blunt ending and I finished it in 18 hrs?...def the shortest AC game to me. I guess that 1 year dev cycle mode for Ubisoft is starting to show plus i doubt next years AC game will be AC3. It'll be a AC game where Desmond rises up to be an assassin i think.

@Yuglyoshi Good for you man. I want to finish the Femshep I started (what a Bitch she's turning out to be!), but after my last romp in ME2 to save Mordin from dying again, I don't know if I'll go back to ME1.

Might just DL FF III (VI), so that means wiping the dust off my Wii.

DOTA 2!

This game's shaping up to be awesome!

As a Seasoned DOTA 1 player (I have much more than 1k hours into it) I must say that although it needs a lot of balancing the game is as fun as dota 1!

Now I just need some more 10 invites or so to call all my friends... Only I has goten an invite (through a friend, so I don't get 2 invites like I would if I had been invited by VALVe)

Burning through Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Just got back to Detroit. Anybody have an idea how far I am in the game/how much is left?

I'm going for the zero detections and zero kills, so I feel like it's artificially lengthened. I'm enjoying it a lot, but sometimes I feel like I need a break.

I'm now on disc 2 of Baten Kaitos and now I'm beginning to feel the difficulty punch to the nuts. The game went from being mildly challenging to I want to send my Wavebird through my tv. When I'm not attempting potential television homicide, I'll still be trekking through Skyward Sword, Yakuza 3, and the PSP version of Ys: The Ark of Napishtim.

Lastly, I just got Geometry Wars Galaxies for the Wii for only $6 brand new and it is above and beyond the one on the 360. There are so many damn levels to this game that it's mind boggling. Plus leveling up those drones and unlocking new classes, as well as new stages, is GODDAMNED ADDICTING!!!!! I don't know if Geometry Wars 2 is anything like this game and if it isn't, then it's a damn shame.

On a side note, the first English language trailer for Tales of Graces F is out! Woot!

@StarcasM Graphics, graphics, blah, blah, blah. Dude, take your graphics, and your mom's dildo, and stuff them up elitist asshole. The last time I checked, it was the game play, not the graphics, that determined how good a game was. Just look at how successful both the DS and Wii have been over both the PS3 and 360. Apparently you are in the minority. Now go jump off a bridge and leave me you peace, you piece of shit.

The only parts I felt were filler were all the parts involving that f*cking Water Dragon c*nt. Seriously, what an asshat. I just beat it today, though, and the last three boss battles make it all worth it. What a phenomenal game.

Love to get into Skyrim but that boss, Grey Screen of Death is nigh on impossible to beat. As in my 360 just doesn't want to know and crashes. Wimp. So until the potential savior of "update 1.3" flies in, that will be on the backburner. Therfore....apart from indulging in the festive tradition of reading the live blog from the VGA's (and probably switching it on just to see any Bioshock Infinite stuff) I'll be re-starting FF12 (thanks to your love of JRPG articles), and playing Phoenix HD and Mirror's Edge on iOS.

(Can I just say, I've never played ME except for the demo on PS3 but how in Sam Hill has this not been turned into a killer franchise?? Everything is there for it. Mood, music (unbelievable) seemingly rich characters...just the whole thing.

@Hong Dong Mirror's Edge is not a killer franchise because there are some people out there who are just being really stupid. ME2 could be so amazing if they just...made it.
