If Batman: Arkham City didn't exactly float your boat due to the fact that its cast of characters wasn't made of interconnecting bricks, then you're a crazy person. Don't worry, though! Warner Bros. Interactive announced plans to tend to your dark desires in October, and today, the details of those plans appear to have solidified. According to artwork which has begun appearing in select Lego sets, the company is currently working on Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.
No information regarding the game's release window are outed in the ad, but the inclusion of heroes Wonder Woman and Superman -- seen in this ad, via MCV -- seem like a lock. We just hope Aquaman makes it in, so we'll have someone we can force our least favorite friends to play as.
No, you know what? Too mean.

I was always fond of my idea that a sequel to Minecraft shall be titled "Tombcraft". The trailer simply rolls the footage of when the Fellowship enter the Mines of Moria, when Boromir remarks "This isn't a Mine. It's a tomb."
And then BAM: "Tombcraft" appears after an instant cut to black.
I'm sorry, you just brought back that old idea and I need to share it. Hope you all understand.

Let's hope it makes some major changes, cause the LEGO games have been very stagnant.

Only issue with the Lego games is that it's so difficult to perceive depth in the environments, which ultimately leads to getting just plain stuck.

@Shadowbender I loved the Star Wars ones, but I tried Batman and Harry Potter, and it just feels like its the same thing. While I like and understand its supposed to be simple, it doesn't have to be so... copy paste.

The second Lego Harry Potter game has been making some progress and plus, some of us sad saps are still addicted to the simple, yet unshakable formula of the Traveler's Tales Lego games. I have put something like 150 hours into various versions of them and I still get excited to hear about new ones. And I'm in my 20's.

In the DC Universe, it isn't called Doomsday. It's called Bat-Day.

I thought they amped Aquamans powers to Namor like levels so he's no longer a joke compared to the others.

Aquaman was only ever a joke character in the Superfriends cartoon. Everywhere else he's a competant superhero.

@Gibbeynator Yeah, that cartoon did more to assassinate Aquaman as a character than most negative political ad campaigns.
The really weird thing is there is now way that many people actually WATCHED the Superfriends enough to have come to that conclusion. I guess it's just another "Beam me up Scotty"...something everyone knows happened...that never actually happened.

I've always thought X-Men would be perfect for the Lego video games. There's a huge cast to choose from.

Tired old joke Aquaman? No thanks. Modern Aquaman? Hell yeah.
That series is one of the best New 52 books so far.

@SolCross Weird thing was an "update" was never really necessary. Arthur doing what he had been shown to be capable of doing would have been plenty for him to justifiably be on the JLA, but too many people watched Superfriends I guess, or rather had HEARD about Superfriends.
