Yeah no thanks.

To quote my favorite Joystiq line of all time..."I'd rather eat a rain soaked box of poison buttholes."

Buy it for less than $15, sell it when it gets close to $30, profit.

Then watch as it plummets to less than $5 a share.

I expect Richard Garriott to show up at the stock exchange wearing a cheerleader shirt with the Zynga logo, proclaiming how Zynga's going to destroy all MMO's, and bring down console gaming. And, that he's looking for investors to support him to develop UO2.

Wow. I mean, it's like they're *willfully* ignoring every internet company that had an IPO between 1996 and 2001.

@John Z The reason all those companies failed is because they weren't making any money and they didn't actually have any real business model.

Whether you like it or not Zynga has both.

I don't know who in their right mind would buy into this stock. And anyone that does is clearly in it for short term gain. I honestly don't see Zynga being around as the "powerhouse" they are much longer

I think if I had a time machine, my first stop would be to 1995 and buy all the Apple stock I could afford.

Then, ancient Egypt.

All that cash will be very useful in ancient Egypt... wait... maybe reverse that order of travel, no?

@benheckendorn Hopefully in a hazmat suit or you would decimate the population with illnesses. Don't forget your sports almanac! Anyway I would rather enslave the world and install my self as king.

@benheckendorn forget 1995, even in 2004 it was between $10-20 a share.

At $10 a share and 100 million shares put up, Zynga values itself more than Electronic Arts? Or about half of Nintendo's value?

I don't think so. Unless they plan on making a few acquisitions I don't see why a single company in a single segment of the videogame market would value itself so high unless they're planning on burning through some cash quickly.

"Zynga games are social", the image proclaims.

Judging from that same image, they're also intended only for white people.

If you thought $10 a share was a good buy... you'll be pleased to know its down about 5% on the day, and moving lower. Labeled "the most dissapointing tech IPO of 2011."

Looks like a fantastic investment. /sarcasm
