In addition to eternally retelling tales of swords and souls upon the stage of history, Namco Bandai may also be up to something a little more extraterrestrial. Siliconera has unearthed a trademark application for "Alien Confidential," filed by Namco Bandai on December 12 in North America and the EU.
We know literally zero things about what this project could entail, so we're going to do what we normally do in situations like this and speculate wildly: Alien Confidential will be an alternate universe "What if?" amalgamation of the Alien and L.A. Confidential timelines, produced by Ridley Scott, directed by Curtis Hanson, and running on the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations engine. You heard it here first!

There's no way we can hope it's a Tex Murphy game? Right?

Yes my dream has come true an alien detective game.
"It was a cold stormy night on Patarious B. Another night on another world in the outer rim. I planned on spending the night watching the stars or losing some credits while betting on this week’s space races. The last thing I expected was another case but when a teal skinned Vatarian dame comes stepping in your office it’s something hard to pass up.
She explained to me she thinks she's be conned by two shady characters that she was tied up with. The two saps were Plaxar vegan and Xedor Bretan. I told the dame it would be a 150 credits up front plus expenses. As she tagged the credits into my account I knew I was stepping into something deep. As I watched her walking out my office door an eerie feeling swept over me.
Stepping into the hard cold rain on Patarious B the questions flooded my mind. Who were these saps? How did the Vatarian dame know them? And how many packs of ploobian cigarettes will I run through trying to figure out this case. As I lit my match and pulled a drag I feel the smoke run across my face as I breathed back out. I had a hunch that before this was over I'd be sorry I took this case."

What the...that woman's boobs are jutting out a little...strangely. Kinda like the dress is...not attached or something. Or copy and pasted.
