Weekly Webcomic Wrapup is a message in a bottle

Look, we're gonna level with you: We haven't actually written anything this weekend. All the posts that went up today were written in advance, as were the posts going up tomorrow. Don't get us wrong, we love you guys to pieces, but we also love our families and the massive feasts they provide during the holidays. Seriously, you guys have no idea how good these twice-baked potatoes are.

So! Think of this post as a time capsule, preserving our favorite webcomics from this week for future posterity. Vote for your favorite after the break, and partake in some face-stuffing yourself, if possible. You've earned it.

Meh. Worst Xmas present ever, joystiq. These were meh.

Not a good selection but I suppose heartwarming can be good at Christmas so I went for BitF.

I agree with the heartwarming part. Jokes are always hit and miss when they're just pieced together and not much thought otherwise is put into them.

BitF was quite heart warming. But Awkward Zombie won it for me. The random things those guys (or any that liked you) would run up and give you was always so strange to me.

BitF wins for sheer adorableness and holiday spirit.

I've been a good boy joystiq so why did i get a brentalfloss comic in my stocking.

Brentalfloss isn't as bad as [the webcomic that shall not be named], but it's still pretty bad.

The cynic in me voted for Nerf Now. MMO communities are never happy as a whole.

What I love about pre-made posts and the like is that even should some airborne virus wipe us all out in seven minutes flat, they'll still go up, catering to some already decaying audience. Like the traffic lights, or FFXI updates.

I can't vote for any of these.

I had no idea something like "twice-baked" potatoes existed. After looking it up it seems like a highly unnecessary recipe. The waiting time to eat that potato is much longer than just mixing the once-baked potato with the toppings and eating it.

Ugh horrible ugh good christity christ christ those were bad. I think my humor broke even TRYING to find any of those funny. (besides BitF, which wasnt funny but heartwarming)

BiTF... this takes the cake this week. I'm not usually one to get warm fuzzier, but dammit, it's Christmas!

Though what the hell is with them putting Chiss in The Old Republic? Unless significant revision has occurred in the Expanded Universe since i read Zahn's "Vision of the Future," where they were supposed to be a vague mystery race, and that should be like 4,000 years or something after the Old Republic, so they shouldn't just be running around all willy-nilly
