@Faceless Troll

No crap. I feel terrible, because I'm actually RUSHING through Uncharted 3, while playing Bastion and SOTC on the side. I'm overwhelmed by my backlog of games, including the unopened copy of Skyrim that stares and chants at me in dragon tongue.

I've vowed to spend the first couple of months of 2012 finishing some of the games I bought in 2011. First up is Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars on 3DS. Nearly done. Great game but such a shitty title.

#1 is Skyrim. I mean, I wish I could have stated a more surprising, outrageous prediction, but just look at the podcasts, and then come back to me.

That or Portal 2. That's not a hard one to believe.

And oh--hey there--what am I playing? Right then...right...dare I say them all?

Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Batman: Arkham City
Modern Warfare 3
Skyward Sword
MGS HD Collection
Skyrim

360 came back for a repair today, at last. So I can leap back in to my long lost loves that I bought for the Xbox this year.

Next weekend I'll post my GOTY pick, which has thickened in difficulty now that I've gotten around to play some other worthy titles.

but someone gifted me Bastion on Steam, so i'll want to play that too.

Oh, and i'll probably go play Saints Row the Third. Because i'm hopelessly addicted to 100%ing that game.

First I will be playing DJ for a New Years Eve party I'm hosting, other then that gaming wise I will be on Skyrim as I have been for the past few months... Borderlands with my Roomate whom I have come to love annoying her by taking all the awesome guns. I also got Batman Arkahm asylum for Christmas so I may give that a try if Skyrim allows me.

Happy New Years guys!! Now let's go back to the music!!!

Far Cry 2

HOTD: Overkill

I also want to re-finish Mass Effect 1 and 2 before ME3 comes out and before Diablo 3 absorbs my soul.

Why did i let my backlog get so big :(

Triple post, but it's necessary: Our last WRUP with Grant, and the Brothers McElroy. I've said it so much this past week, but to ensure a prolonging, lasting final effect-- I love you guys, and thank you so much. This isn't the end. I have my eye on each of your Twitter feeds to see any mention of the next big thing. I'll never forget how much and how well you molded Joystiq into what it has always been and will always be. Cheers to the future, guys.

Wanted to game into the New Year with all my friends in different areas of the US - So we decided we all owned Halo Reach and will be playing that when the ball drops (across all time zones).

Outside of that, some FIFA 12, Beyond Good & Evil HD (first time through, just finished the slaughterhouse), and Nintendo just replaced my launch 3DS that went bad... So time to pick up Super Marioland 3D and see what all the hoopla is about! Not to mention finally getting to all those ambassador GBA games!

Huzzah for 2012!

I don't comment all that often here (at least not as often as some), but I just have to stop by to say farewell to Chris, Justin, and Griffin. You guys made Joystiq into one hell of a site, and you will be sorely missed around these parts!

I'll be playing Star Wars: The Old Republic and Dance Central 2. My goal is to play Dance Central 2 for an hour every single day between January 1st and December 31st, 2012 (besides when I'm on vacation).

I'm damned determined to drop 60 lbs. before 2013 arrives.

I finished up Baten Kaitos on Christmas Day and I have to say that the final boss was one of the cheapest in history. I also just completed Yakuza 3 a few hours ago. It's really cool to see how the series has improved over the course of the three games that I've played. 3 is definitely the best, but I'll know for sure which one takes the crown when I get around to playing both part 4 and Dead Souls.

I'm currently playing Grandia 2 for the PS2, Trinity: Souls of Zil O'll for the PS3, and Jeanne D'arc for the PSP. Seeing as that being a lot of Playstation , I think I may just go ahead and start up Super Mario RPG for the Virual Console on the Wii. I've always wanted to play that game, but just never got a chance to.

Sad to see you move on guys; I for one really enjoy your writing. But good luck for the future!

As for this weekend; well I think most of it will probably be viewed in a drunken haze but apart from watching the end of the regular season it will be Skyrim all the way. I kind of feel bad for Mass Effect 2, sitting there all lonely but Skyrim is a commanding mistress and just won't let me go.

I have to say, as a newbie to the series I am absolutely absorbed into this world. As much as the depth to the music to just soaking it all in as you traverse this wondrous land. Epic.

I finished Saints Row The Third on Thursday; it's got a few strong moments but overall I think it's enormously overrated. On Friday I spent about eight more hours (crossing the 50 hours mark) with Skyrim and easily had more fun in those eight hours than I did in the 15 or so I spent with SR3. So anyway, it'll probably just be me and Skyrim going into the new year, and maybe I'll start on something else in my backlog, like Tropico 4, Ico or Resistance 3.

Toys R Us near me was selling open-box 3DS's for 80 bucks... less than half price. I wasn't gonna get one, but damn, that's cheap, and they were brand new... the box was just open. Awesome deal, picked op OoT and SMB 3D Land as well... for a total xost of $160... so that's what I'm playing.
