@iceveiled "Axis of Evil..."

Ahahahaha.... ah.

Cute. Laughable, but cute, like a toddler trembling because of the boogey man under his bed.

@Faris Hilton It always really really shocks me when people don't actually have any idea what subliminal advertising is, or that it was made illegal years ago, or that it was never effective anyway

Patriotism is a ridiculous concept, which is far to easily exploited to shift responsibilities.

And its not as if you can opt out of the "benefits" of wars.

@McPo yes you can...move to a country that doesn't have a huge military machine. ...i hate the military, but i am going to live in a country that uses that machine to my benefit, but i am going to whine about that and patriotism.

dont be a hipster...its bad for your brain. be proud of your country.

Actually Im Irish and live in Ireland.

Of which has 7 personnel in Afghan territory as trainers.
And has allowed military aircraft to refuel at an airport in past conflicts
(according to wikipedia)

Ireland considers itself a neutral country. However I still disagree with the above, particularly troops on foreign ground.

I also do plan on emigrating to other neutral countries in the future.

I am not proud for my country, What does that even mean? Proud of the people? and why is it restricted to a single nationality.

I recognise the sacrifice and motives of individuals and solely individuals many of whom are from foreign land, some local.

War has a world-wide affect which can not be escaped. So long as war is seen as a business opportunity, and there is international trade your being influenced.

The idea that if you dont like it you can move, is a poor one. Its not right to deprive a man of the benefits he created for himself, just because a few got theirs from dubious means.

@Faceless Troll

Why are you acting like such a chode?

I am an American, and I love America. It is my home. I am free here. Did you know that most other countries lack constitutional protections for freedom of speech? Even in the UK, they can censor speech if they so desire. In the US, they might try passing laws to do this, but our supreme court will overturn them as unconstitutional.

My home is also beautiful. I know that there are many beautiful places in the world, but I don't know of many that have so many different types of beauty. We have glimmering beaches, soaring mountains, verdant plains, majestic deserts, deep pine forests--it goes on and on. I love living someplace like this.

I am also a part my country. I am responsible for voting for my leaders. In some states (at least in the US), one can even directly propose and implement legislation via ballot initiatives.

Is it wrong to love your home? Is it wrong to love being free? Is it wrong to love being someplace beautiful? Is it wrong to take pride in my country, the one that I and my fellow citizens jointly run?

I will be patriotic. If you think I'm ridiculous, then I pity you. Have you considered the possibility that you are the ridiculous one because you /don't/ love your home?

If it weren't for the fact that CTA makes these, I'd consider buying one since it's one of the few light gun shells with a legitimate sight on it, which for me is pretty useful for stuff like Time Crisis.

Too bad everything CTA makes is utter garbage. Their Wii light guns were so horrible I couldn't use them because the triggers would constantly lock up and nothing fit correctly.

These can only be official US army accessories if they jam and break easily and invite you to partake in friendly fire incidents. If so, sign me up.
