The great secret Bethesda hasn't revealed to anyone yet is that citizens of Skyrim are actually learning, adapting and evolving. If you set your PC or console forward a couple thousand years, you'll be able to play Skyrim in a modern setting, as seen in this clip.
Skyrim, if it were set in 2012

Not a single arrow in the knee joke? That alone makes this a good video.

@Zoot Suit Jedi Grammar Hammer En I'm so glad I'm not alone! I feel like he wants to show off his 'treasures' a bit too much.

Meh... Was distracted by the shopkeeper who kept looking at the camera.
Was kind of cute otherwise.

Am I the only one who thought that Oblivion was better?

@Xenitas Yeah. I've seen people say Morrowind, which is right, but never seen anyone say Oblivion is better.

Morrowind and Skyrim are equal footing for their majestic nature and fun. Oblivion cries at night because it can't come close. At least that's what I imagine happens...

I wonder if this also works by setting your system back instead of forward and playing Fallout 3.

I'm not sure. The Elder Nooks just doesn't have the same ring to it.

If only the characters in skyrim were as attractive as the brothers, maybe I'd like it....no I probably still wouldn't.

Great idea that they didn't quite pull off. For one the main character should have never spoken at all and the companion should have done all the talking. They should have been forced to check out what they stole from the menu and then had to go through a clunky list to transfer it to the companion. The NPC shouldn't have been from first person at the end either.

@pluupy As long as it is relative to the subject matter of the post I don't see it as a problem.
