So if I play as Ryu Hayabusa does every Goomba turn into an attack dog hell-bent on killing you?

Because X is a different character than Megaman. But, he could always add X at a later version.

SNES Samus's walking animation looks bad, as it's based on her NES frames. SNES Castelvania dude, should probably use Super Castlevania or even Dracula X sprite, rather than a shaded version of the NES sprite, especially since the GameBoy version uses the Gameboy sprite.
Aside from those two issues, looks interesting.

Constructive criticism is a no no? Wouldn't you want to hear how to improve something you've spent a long time working on? No matter how small that improvement might be?

I'm excited for this although I really wanted to see a bit more stage variety beyond Super Mario Bros. (and now Super Mario Bros. 3) levels. If all these characters are showing up, why not their worlds (imagine Mario stomping on ninjas from Ninja Gaiden 1-1 or zombies from the first level of Castlevania)? Maybe the final version has that.

seems like the creator could do more to add some challenge. they've taken stages from a game where the character was not very powerful, so the stages were not challenging, and allow you to play as characters that were designed for games that had harder enemies and stages that often require you to shoot a weapon.

Well when the guy works hard on a browser based free game complaining about the sprouts is annoying.
