Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 fights for Gamindustri Feb. 28

Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, developer Idea Factory's second trek into the world of Gamindustri, will arrive in North America on February 28, courtesy of NIS America. Europe will actually get to experience the (virtual) console wars a bit earlier, on February 24.

This time, players control the younger sisters of the girls-as-consoles from the previous game. Which, in Hyperdimension Neptunia logic, means they're based on portable consoles -- the protagonist is "Nepgear."

And Keiji Inafune is there for some reason!

considering the first game was tripe, how about no? Not unless they did some massive improvements between the two.

Haha, I'm just making light of stuff in the game. It's better than the first, but not by much at all. (Imported :/

Don't be fooled by the well-drawn anime characters and the hopes that it might be a good old-school JRPG with moderne game-referential humor... if it's anything like the first, it'll be one of the worst RPG's you'll play this generation. I sold the first one after two days.

@MayorMikeHaggar Agreed 100% Luckily, I only rented it, but holy crap is this game unbearable. The writing and those anime girls may entice you, but the actual game part is absolutely nothing to write home about.

@spasticcolon4 I was thinking the same thing, but then I remembered that one of the characters from the game (5pb) is the name of the publisher/developer for Steins;Gate and Chaos;Head.

I have the game pre-ordered.. cant wait.

One of the screenshots mentioned the "sudden appearance of octopuses".

I know how this movie ends.
