I know there is a legitimate grip with how the series is turning out when it comes to these 3rd party characters but something about Ezio in SCV feels....right. Maybe if Namco didn't abuse the idea so much it would feel way cooler.

I know it will sound like a "forever alone" question but : What do we know about solo-play in this game? Any cool modes like soul calibur on the dreamcast ? Or mk9, Or only "arcade mode" ?

@Lpcrispo From what I know it will be like IV, i.e. no team battle, time attach, survival etc.
It's a shame, I really enjoyed team battles with friends.

I would highly recommend you do so. They are really trying to bring back the series to its roots, and from I have seen so far they are succeeding. Plus the addition of Ezio makes a whole lot more sense than previous 3rd partiers like Link, Spawn, and the dreadfully mismatched Yoda.

The clothe physics are a bit too much here Ezio looks like he is wearing blankets .

The reason Ezio works is:
1) he's on both consoles
2) his renaissance characterization fits the universe of Soul Calibur which also has the same time period feel to it
3) he's not a supernatural character or has ridiculous powers (The Apprentice in SCIV and Spawn in Xbox SCII)
4) he's not super short and unthrowable (aka Yoda).

He just works in the game, here's to playing him.

@Gmail Calendar Rep
It seems like that stage has no limits, that is it has no walls or ring edges, so as you move outwards the background remains the same distance away; always unreachable.
It looks a bit weird but it is nice that they included a stage like that.

See they took out Ezio's 2 second vulnerability if he attempts to counter early, and how he still takes damage when he guards attacks (least that's how it is on AC)

A little disappointing that his alt costume seems to just be a colour swap considering how many they had to choose from.

@HayabusaTaichou
In the character creation you can make alternate outfits for each character, maybe that's what they did here: just change the colour a little rather than reveal the alt costume.

Yeah Im still waiting to see if Talim is in the game, I think she was still a teenager in the previous ones so its not like age would be a factor

I hope this game has single-character voice language options like SF4.... some characters sound good (and like they should) in their western voices, but some others like Mitsurugi... should keep their japanese voices.

So why is it that the only outfits Ezio wears are actually Altair's clothing?

@rartemass
It's Ezio's outfit from Brotherhood, not Altair's outfit.
